Hey guys, Anthony filling in for Shawn B. He has been with other things, and I like this column too much to let it slip. So let’s take a look at Mel, Poyo’s, and my spec picks from one year ago.
There was a couple of good ones on here including a homer.
Winners
Savage #1 Cover F Incentive Lewis Larosa Black & White Cover – Tony, Mel, and Poyo pick- This one was going for a few hundred dollars off the bat. Was hard to find not bad considering the $30 price tag it started out with. Last sold for $150 so it is down off its high.
White #1 -Tony Pick- No sales on individual issues lately, but sets sell up to $40 for the four issue great white shark book.
Near Misses
M.A.S.K. Mobile Armored Strike Kommand #1 Cover G Incentive Paul Pope Interconnecting Variant Cover – Mel pick- There haven’t been any completed sales on this one in the past 6 months, however there is one up now for $50 with 11 watchers. So there is still interest in this cover.
Misses
Kodoja 2 #1-Tony Pick- While I loved the first series, this one didn’t take off as much. Great book overall, just didn’t take off as well as I hoped.

I really enjoyed White. Bloodthirsty sharks and bloodthirsty corporate America vs the woman made for great reading.
I moved that book too.
One of my favorite stories from last year’s shark comics. That series was very hard to find especially issue #3.
BTW, what ever happened to Atoll? Great second issue and nothing since. Anthony, have you heard anything about this?
Thanks and keep up the great work!
Ugh. It went the way of Enormous sadly. Just hasn’t come out. Two issues out and disappeared. I love Tim Daniel. He is an extremely nice guy, but gotta get those books out.
I did great with that Savage and those Pope IDW books
Yeah I know. That was a sick week.
