The Diamond Comics Advance Reorder List is a great speculator tool. It shows what books retailers are going back to get more of, in advance of their release. They are actually putting their money up betting these books get big. These are the books people are talking about in shops, message boards, and websites. Here is the Diamond Comics Advance for 5/15/18.
Amazing Spider-Man #800 is all the rage, taking up 15 of the top 25 spots, and that is not including some of the really large ratio variants including the Ditko Remastered Variant, the Ditko Black and White Remastered Variant, the Alex Ross Virgin Variant, or even the already announced Second Printing. And with all the Amazing Spider-Man madness, #799 gets a new cover for the second printing, featuring the kid Red Goblin (first cover appearance.)

  1. I use this list to see what stores are ignoring. Comic shops like a “sure thing” (ASM 800, anything Venom, Action 1000) and are OK with the higher cover prices for now. With DC moving all of its titles to $3.99, shops will have less money for lower hanging fruit. And therein lies the opportunity.

    1. And that is half the point. The list is an awesome tool to show what shops are gobbling up. ASM 800 has surpassed 450,000 in pre-orders. The print run will be huge. Not saying the book will not go up in price like ASM 700 did but there are books the stores will not order because all their money is going to an expensive book.
