Comic Picks of the Week for Delivery 12/19/18

Each week hundreds of new comics hit the stands, each with potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. here are our picks of the week for delivery 12/19/18:

End of the year is quickly approaching and what a great flipping year it has been, I mean for flipping not a “flipping year.” Anyway, the next three weeks are going to be slower, but there still could be some gems out there.

Killer B’s
Batman #61 Francesco Mattina Cover – Batman is ramping up, some great stories coming down the pike. This is another Killer B Mattina, for the collection.

Catwoman #6 Artgerm Cover – Another winner from Artgerm, these killer B’s have not been popping like they used to, but still great long term pick ups.

Freedom Fighters #1 Ben Oliver Cover – Now this one is a little different. This one has some steam behind it and could start to see some secondary market love.

Because Mattina On Spawn…
Spawn #292 Francesco Mattina Covers – regular, virgin, or black and white. All are awesome.

The Dell Otto Incentive
Darth Vader #25 Gabriele Dell Otto 1:25 Variant – Man, I hate putting variants on my list as that is Mel’s area, but this is a bad ass cover.

Small Press Gem
Ogre #3 – the first two issues have seen sell outs and higher secondary market prices. I am willing to gamble on the third issue doing the same.

Pick of the Week
Grumble #2 – Go for the Frison Variant for flipping, but the regular cover is also sold out. Already seeing asking prices go into the $30 range.

Well that is it for me, small week for spec, like I mentioned. No New Comic Spec Review this week as I was on the road, in New York City. But it will return next week.

Let us know what you are spec-ing on over at the open forum.
