Spoilers: Batman Who Laughs #2 The Death of a Bruce Wayne

Batman Who Laughs #2 is in stores tomorrow. And I can promise you the tragic death of Bruce Wayne.

The issue starts out with the death of Bruce Wayne.

One who had a very important job where he was from.

Meanwhile another Bruce Wayne visits Wayne Industries. There are a lot of Bruce Waynes this issue.

If the blind door man only knew.

Our Bruce Wayne is busy fighting off the Joker Toxin from the end of last issue.

But from his attitude it doesn’t seem like it is working

HE needs to talk to the one man who knows what the plan is…

And he informs him only his friend’s heart knows. Here is the friend….

And that heart is….

  1. Fun series so far. Not liking the ad overlay popping up at the bottom of my screen. I stopped going to bleeding cool because of the invasive ads…

    1. We’re going to try and keep them limited. I hate popup ads as well, but staying at the bottom right side is the least intrusive we can implement. Bleeding Cool is awful about ads, there’s just too much noise going on there with ads.

Moving away from WordPress should have removed a huge number of ads (they threw their own on the site since it was using their free hosted services).

    2. Hi Jamie, thanks for the comment. The ads are a trade off. The site costs me money to run and give out the free info. The site has become so massive with so much traffic we had to switch hosts. As a result the costs increased greatly. The draw on the two servers we had would have shut down the site on a day like today so we had to invest in more servers and more system capacity. The end result is we have to off set the cost somehow. The one pop up ad should pay for the system resources required to provide the daily content we have. It’s not ideal and we are looking at other ways to make it happen, but we can’t afford to run the site and provide free info and insight and not recoup the costs.

  2. Hi Anthony, Poyo

Thanks for the reply. I totally understand, been building sites and apps for years. The desktop ads are fine, not very obtrusive. On my phone with the banner ad at the bottom, scrolling down, I’ve inadvertently hit part of the ad and been sent to the ad site. Not a huge deal and helps to pay for the site. Overall the new site looks great!

Thanks again! Keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks for understanding. Running ads was something we don’t necessarily want to do. The site itself generates no income. That’s why I do the sales from time to time to generate funds to keep CHU going. None of the writers get paid. We all do this for fun.

        1. Enable ad block on your browser. We have to have a happy balance between being able to pay for the site and keep it going. Cbsi does run ads on their site as well.

  3. I can understand when I first click on CHU getting ads in the lower right, but for each page I go on. I will just stop coming to this site. It’s ridiculous. I don’t care about yogurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
