Straightjacket from Amigo Comics is being picked up for a TV show. We have been on this book since 2015. Amigo puts out some quality horror books so it was a no-brainer to pick it up.
The second series of Straightjacket is coming out in March/April. With that, it is interesting to note that news will be coming out that Straightjacket has been picked up for a TV show.
The characters and concepts first appeared in Straightjacket #1
Richard Boom, who handles a lot of press releases for small press comics, does the press releases for Amigo Comics upcoming comics. In his latest press release email, he notes Straightjacket Vol. 2 #2 is coming out in April 2019. He also mentioned that Straightjacket has been picked up for a TV show and the news will be forthcoming. We will have the full story when the option is officially announced. MIght be some demand for the Hoknes Comics variant covers of this cool series. Print run was less than 50 copies ! Those are extremely hard to find now – I don’t have any !

I have one in my stash box, was lucky to find it on the rack at a LCS when it came out. O saw this post late last night when there were still affordable copies of #1 on ebay but I dumped my paypal into the bank an hour earlier so couldn’t grab ’em. DOH!
Pretty sure I have a copy or two of those Hoknes variants.

Yup, $50 with Best Offer. Remember, this is news of option only. It could result in coming to our screens or die off with all the others… if you don’t want this for the personal collection, now’s the time to dump copies if you have more than 1. Make your money back + profit and if you can hold one or few for long term gamble, that’s the way to go.

It sort of fell off the radar for sure. The option will renew interest but I predict until it moves beyond the option, it’ll die off again until then.
Well. The full official announcement should help spur sales. Essentially we are the only media outlet that has reported it.

Just sold the set for $55. Pretty good for a $8 investment back in August
