A while back Marvel got backlash for Spider-Woman being drawn by Italian artist Milo Manara in what was described as an impossible pose. Frank Cho took up the reins and ran with it. Now small press company Red Giant Entertainment have tapped Sabine Rich to do the same for their flag ship character, White Widow.
The cover is an exclusive for New York Collector Cave and is available in a Trade dress version and a foil version, limited to 100 copies. These are also available in sets.
Now that the first issue got all that buzz I wonder if the second will be as under-ordered or plentiful. Clearly they are keeping the sexy poses theme for each cover!
They have to keep the covers sexy…. Its the only reason people will buy them sadly…
I actually enjoyed the first issue. It was a throw back to books like Witchblade when they started out.

I try not to read the books I’m planning on flipping, because if I like it I’ll have to get more for the PC. It happened with Immortal Hulk, Darth Vader I could go on all night.

BIG NEWS! Our first comic book series The Rift has been optioned and produced by Steven Spielberg (E.T., Ready Player One, Close Encounters) and his production company Amblin Entertainment. The writer, Don Handfield, (co-creator of Knightfall, The Source, The Mall) also co-wrote the first episode that will premiere on Apple’s new streaming service as part of the reboot of Amazing Stories.

I got an email from motor comics about the rift news with an offer to buy signed copies of #1. I’m inquiring for more details.
Was wondering if the FCBD issue is worth grabbing as the “first appearance of the rift”. Likely still sitting in boxes and FREE!

Picked up the first issue foil….haven’t been able to flip it yet. I’m hoping when issue #2 comes out it’ll get some heat back. Am i reading this right, March 27th is issue #2?? That’s a big gap between 1 & 2 if so…

If you’re hoping for a model that can get into that pose, may I suggest Nicole Brown Simpson? She may be able to pull off that head pose. (Sorry, in poor taste, i know, i am a habitual line stepper).
