ComicsPro, the Comics Professional Retailer Organization had its meeting this weekend in Charlotte North Carolina, and with it came a slew of exclusives for the trade show. Thankfully, we had our friend Regan, who owns Summit Comics and Games (with locations in Lansing and Fort Wayne) , there to report back on what was given out. Check out the exclusives below.
First up is Valiant’s Comics Punk Mambo #1 – This one was more like a record album cover with the ashcan and some other goodies inside.
Scout Comics was well represented with the following comics:
Midnight Sky Ashcan by James Pruett
IDW had a great book to give out.
GI Joe Sierra Muerte #1 – The normal Marat variant for this has been selling at good numbers.
Dark Horse had comics and prints
Minecraft Ashcan – which has been given out at other events.
Hellboy Seeds of Destruction had a Comicspro variant
Image had some interesting giveaways:
Little Bird Ashcan – New series coming up from Image
Sonata Retailer Exclusive – is a beautiful looking new book from Image.
Ascender Ashcan – Follow up to Jeff Lemire’s Descender series.
DC had two recent big named books.
