    1. I hope his spirits are up for you. Last time I met Powell was at Mondo Con in 2017 and he just seemed like he just didn’t want to be there. It was kind of a put off and was also sad he wasn’t doing any commissions, he would have made a killing if he was.

        1. I have this feeling he’s that type of artist that can’t pump out art like some of the others. Francavilla did both his commissions I had done in like 30 minutes. Man is an art robot or something.

        2. Well shizzle…there went my drizzle. He is visiting a local shop with die hards so a couple signings and a handshake is all Im figuring. Thanks T and Agent P.

  1. Lately it seems Midtown is just limiting all the more prominent B covers for DC to 1 per customer. Wondering if they’re just doing that to ween out buyers in cleaning them out with the bigger discount to sell on the secondary market.

    1. If buyers are cleaning them out, they can’t be making much of a profit. But why not limit 2? Limit of 1 for something that’s not close to being sold out is odd…

      1. I don’t know. Midtown stocks their stores then they stock the supply initially for the website. I don’t know about you but if I owned a shop, for the online inventory, I wouldn’t limit books unless the book heats up, then I try to make it fair. I’d be in the business of making money. You don’t make money by keeping pretty Killer B covers sitting on your virtual shelf for your store..

          1. It was at one point and it actually sold out rather quicker than I thought it would. Perhaps there’s a lower print run since I’d imagine most retailers went lightly due to the hideous art.
