  1. You ever get the feeling as big as the WD193 1st print is it might end up in 3rd place for the week behind Zombie Trampy and Green Stabby? There’s no way those two had print runs anywhere close to WD193 1st Print and maybe not as many as the 2nd could get. ZT 61 Cover E in particular can only have 2,000 copies out there. TMNT95 may only have about 10,000 split between two covers according to Comichrons numbers for May’s issue.

    1. If we are measuring cost per book it certainly won’t sell better than the 2 books you mentioned. But it will absolutely be the #1 book as far as sales go. Plus the book is fetching $25+ dlvd right now. Not too shabby. Also, it will have a place in comic book history. The other 2 books nobody will care about a few months from now.

        1. Absolutely, she’s some type of second in command in the series of some group so she must have some martial arts/stabby training. She’s also green.

      1. Jennika Turtle? TMNT 95? Only copies on eBay are asking $25+. And that’s just the A cover. No sales above cover yet…I grabbed a copy of A&B from MCS. Sold out at midtown.

I don’t understand the craziness of zombie tramp,Stan Lee tribute. Whatever.

Of all of these maybe TMNT95 has long term spec potential. Walking dead is just shock combined with people holding copies creating artificial demand right now….flip’em if you got’em.

        1. Shops were able to make significant backorders for this first print. Once the backorders hit shops next week more copies will be up for sale.

  2. I found 2 Zombie Tramp 61, couldnt believe the prices their going for on ebay. Anywhere from $50 to $130

    1. My lcs’s don’t go heavy on WD.

I hit 2 LCSs shortly after they opened and was shut Out. Could have hit a 3rd but When I called the wife I caught her when the kids were driving her nuts…she’s had to work from home with them around the last 3 days…so I felt I’d better just head home instead…

Could have called he lcs to hold a copy for me….but also felt like since I’ve never read an issue I shouldn’t take a copy from someone that actually was a fan. I was curious how it all ended since I do have a general knowledge of the plot from spoilers here and some other articles I’ve read.

      1. 2nd print FOC’s Monday. Third Print hasn’t been announced yet but I wouldn’t rule it out for 191 and 192 either.

    1. Different color used for the Title and “SECOND PRINTIBG” added under the price so it’s easy to tell the difference from the 1st.

      1. Also, they changed the title of story on cover from “The Farmhouse” to “The End”

        1. Where are you seeing that at? I can’t see either phrase printed on the cover itself and the solititation at Diamond and Previewsworld goes with “The Farmhouse”

“THE FARMHOUSE”: Out in the countryside, trouble is brewing for a certain someone.

          1. ?? Directly above the word THE ( as in The Walking Dead) it is printed The Farmhouse. On the 2nd Print that has been replaced with “The End”. Also, directly below 3.99 it will state 2nd Printing too. ?? I am now wondering if they only printed the standard 50k print run that had been standard recently. I mean it is triple the size of a standard book and the previous 2 issues were not sold out at Diamond until after release. The first print is standing strong at $35-$40 dlvd. Someone said $50 by SDCC … doesn’t seem unlikely right now.

            1. It sucks getting old. I can’t watch TV and read all that white lettering on the descriptions of the items being selected without my glasses now!!!! Light white is the worst!!!!!

I’m expecting to see a print run of closer to 80,000 when Comichron releases the numbers. I ordered lite because it seemed the obvious choice for everyone else to double their orders with the 100% returnability thing.

It also took a lot longer to sell out at Diamond than I expected it would. I almost had to use a second credit cards balance as backup. Fortunately it sold out at Tuesday morning finally leaving me enough room to get a stupid amount of turtle books if I have to use the cards to cover the orders.

Once all those copies start hitting stores, the undercutting is going to start heavy. That could be as early as Tuesday if any copies got shipped with next weeks boxes but not invoiced until the next week. The 31st will probably take out more as the people who only want to read have a $3.99 option to read on the shelf.
