The What If? streaming show has been officially announced with cast details and release date.
Just announced in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios’ WHAT IF…?, the first animated series in the MCU, with Jeffrey Wright as the voice of The Watcher, and many actors from across the MCU reprising their roles as voice talent. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Summer 2021.
Animated series is a shame that won’t do much to move the needle.
I’m getting burned-out on the deluge of Marvel movies and Disney+ shows, but I love anything Wright is in, so I know he’ll make a damn fine voice for The Watcher.
Needle moved enough for me with the original announcements selling out my What If #1’s. Anything additional as episodes are announced is welcome to go although #10 is already leaving for other reasons.
