Charles Adlard’s New Book, Vampire State Building Gets a Walking Dead Homage

Charles Adlard is most known for his work on the zombie book, The Walking Dead, but he has a new vampire series coming out from Ablaze LLC called Vampire State Building. Now, Vampire State Building will be getting an homage to Adlard’s previous book.

Our friends over at NY Collector Cave has a limited to 300 edition featuring an homage to Walking Dead #1 by artist Vinz El Tab. While Tony Moore did the original iconic cover, Charles Adlard has recreated it on the 15th Anniversary Edition. Now the iconic cover has been recreated for Vampire State Building.

The cover, limited to only 300 copies, is available at the NY Collector Cave website. We will have copies to give away in the near future. Pre-sales of the book opened up today.

  1. I wonder if Adlard ends up with a handful of these of his eBay shop and signed at a huge markup? 😛

Collectors Cave website let me add 300 copies to my cart too.. Hmm…

  2. The pose just doesn’t do it for me. That’s a female pose. And the face yeah. I’ll pass on this cover.

  3. Adlard is the definition of “Falling Up” his artwork is bad, his characters are stiff, the faces look the same…he just isn’t very good. The fact that he is a shill makes it easy to not be a fan.
