CovrPrice.com Runners-up for 9/13/19

As promised, the Runners-Up list, think of these as the second part of the Top 20. Now then, on to #11-20.

#11 Black Knight #1 (Marvel, 1990) This one came as a surprise entry. It generally doesn’t sell for much. However, it did hit some decent sales this week (it’s back down now though)… hence the high 7-day trend. It sold 11 copies, had a 7-day trend of 418% and had a high raw sale of $30.

#12 Spawn #1 (Image, 1992) seems to be selling more and more copies each week. We made a point to NOT cover a rare Spawn variant this week… just to give everyone a break. Yet, he still wanted to show up here. No one puts Spawn in a corner. It sold 51 copies, had a 7-day trend of 88% and had a high sale of $113 for a CGC 9.8.

#13 Infamous Iron Man #1 (Marvel, 2016) is the first Tony Stark as AI. It also has Dr. Doom take on the Iron Man Armor… but the Tony AI is why people are chasing this. Rumors are that Robert Downey Jr. will return to the MCU via hologram and AI voiceovers. This sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 131% and had a high sale of $85 for a CGC 9.8.

  1. And my Moon Knight #25 Mycomicshop sent to the “wrong address” when I paid $20 for it and it blew up a week later $100+ while it was “In the mail” and I still had to contact PayPal to get the refund for the book they never had any intention of selling me because the customer service was of no help. They tried saying I had the wrong address put in even though it was the right address on my account that they have sent 500+ orders to. So because of Moon Knight #25 I am no longer a mycomicshop customer.

    1. They’re rip-offs, cheats, and rude ass smug Texans who think they know better. They deleted my account once and now cancel any order/delete any account that comes from family members at my address, but they can’t say anything because they know they never informed me not to do business there.

  2. I just keep pulling out my “what I thought were worthless” books from my collection every week with these Covrprice notifications. Then they go into the “Kinda worth something” boxes. This week it’s Black Knight #1, Amazing Spider-Man 347 & Marvel Team-Up 131.

    1. That cant be right for she hulk. Last week I am pretty sure it was a high sale of $20. Maybe iy was $25 and they fat fingered a 5, if not I’m glad I found it in the 50cent bin a few weeks back.
