Previews gives us a glimpse of what’s to come. Here’s the spotlight of new books coming out of October Previews for Marvel.
Marvel has around 240 books in the October Previews. Here’s my small glimpse of the ones I’m looking forward to.
I’m just going to start off with my top pick (the rest are in no particular order) as it’s cover is just awesome. Even if it wasn’t a Venom book I’d still pick it up for the cover.

VENOM ISLAND BEGINS HERE! ‘Nuff said! Rated T+
Once upon a time we had Spider Island, now comes the time we have Venom Island.
I expect this will kick off the events after Venom #20 where we might finally get introduced to Dylan and his Symbiote.
Buy this next one if you love J Scott Campbell. Don’t buy it if you’re tired of J Scott Campbell. He has his fans and I can see this one grabbing their attention.

The Black Cat finally takes on Odessa Drake and the Thieves Guild of New York!
If Felicia has any chance of getting back her kidnapped mentor, The Black Fox, she’s going to have to take on an army of ninjas and a cabal of wizards. No sweat, right? Rated T
The cover makes me want to know what’s going on in this next book, if it’s related to the story which isn’t always the case with some cover art. And is that Thor on the cover?

Behold the coming of the Three Heralds. Also, Thor is a Brood now… Rated T+
I really dig some of the facsimile covers. This one is for all you that don’t want to fork over the money for an actual first print that heated up within the past year or so due to the movie buzz.

I also read online that there could be a new first appearance of a pretty cool character coming out of #1, which could lead into a first full in this issue.
Only because it’s Star Wars and most might not realize that the comic book actually pre-dates the movie in terms of release date.
