One Week Later Report for December 26th, 2019

Hope everyone had a great Christmas today and tomorrow is likely new comic book day since I don’t think any shop was open. So welcome once again to the another installment of the One Week Later Report. This week we’ll cover the books released on 12/18/2019.

Hopefully this report helps anyone reading while picking out new books at the local shops.

Skulldigger and Skeleton Boy #1 Lemire variant is a winner from last week.

This is being classified as a 1:10 variant but to my knowledge this was open to order once an account holder ordered 10 copies of cover A and or B, making this an open order.

So not a true 1:10 variant but a lot of smaller shops might not have qualified if they didn’t order 10 copies. And even if they did, might not have gone back to order these.

These were seeing sales as high as $30 on pre-sales but now averaging around thew $10 to $12 range with the most recent sold listings.

Not a bad pickup if you find them.

Basketful of Heads #3 (of 7) (Variant)Basketful of Heads #3 saw a pretty cool looking Tula Lotay variant cover that sold out at Midtown.

Not a lot of sales and most were barely over cover, just thought it’s an honorable mention since it’s sold out at Midtown. You can still find them for cover price at TFAW.

It’s a great new series if you haven’t been picking these up to read.

If you were able to nab them at cover or cheap, the 1:10 Meyers variant for Marvel Action Spider-Man #12 are seeing sales as high as $70 now with the most recent sold listing. Prior to that it was seeing sales around the $30 to $40 range.

At time of writing there are two auctions with a day or more left, so it’ll be interesting to see where these end up. The other listing out of the 3 on a quick search is a BIN for $44.99, which isn’t bad considering it’s now selling higher than that.

Marvel Tales Annihilation #1 Inhyuk Lee Virgin Variant is doing well on the secondary market if you found for cheap. Two have been sold, one at Best Offer that was listed at $170 while the other sold at $170. There’s currently one listed for $143.99. This one is likely one of those ghost variants as most shops probably didn’t go heavy on this title and certainly didn’t qualify for this book.

That’s it for this week. A bit more exciting than last weeks week in review.
