  1. Hope to see your spec videos back soon Anthony. I miss them. The last half of 2019 seemed horrible for new spec in my opinion.

    1. It was. The videos will be back. Working on something tonight as a matter of fact. I went through a hellacious move. Killed the joy of buying a new home. But I have an awesome studio and will be back to videos shortly.

      1. see you tonight sir.it will be awesomesauce blind adam out p.s. the last two months have been soft on spec but some great stuff has come out

      2. What went wrong with your move? Very sorry to hear that. I moved houses myself and went through a similar traumatic experience, so I can sympathize.

        1. A lot. Lol. So we were supposed to close on my house on 11/18. The buyer put in for a first time home buyers grant. The application takes at least 30 days. She put the application in a few days before closing. There were a couple of small things that needed to be fixed and they tried to delay closing because of that to make it seem like the delay was on us. I had them fixed immediately. Needless to say that pushed things back by three weeks. I had all my comic stuff packed on a Uhaul for all that time. Paying per day. When we finally got to closing it turns out our loan application was expired. It had gone past the time they could hold the loan. We ended up having to do a new loan app which pushed the settlement on the new house by a couple of days. Our buyers were very difficult to work with and the whole deal almost fell through several times. There was a lot more involved but all of it is not worth getting into.

          1. Yeah…having to sell your home in order to finance another home really binds things up when people, including the mortage companies, throw curveballs.

I’ve been fortunate enough not to have to rely on selling a home to buy a home the two sales I’ve been through. That gives you a huge advantage as a buyer when you are making offers…won a few bidding wars despite being outbid because I had funds immediately available.

Glad to hear your on the other side of the mountain now…

            1. We sold our rental property a while back with the idea of buying a much larger home. We sold the house we were living in because I do not want to do rentals any more. Just cannot stand being a land lord. But yeah. We did sell in order to buy so it did slow things down.
