One Week Later Report for March 4th, 2020

Welcome once again to another installment of the One Week Later Report. Usually these are books that heated up or were good pick up for flipping, even going as far to report if books fell flat and you can now find at cheaper prices.

This week we’ll cover the books released on 02/26/2020.

DC has made it easy these past few weeks with this new Punchline. After her first appearance in Batman #89 as a small cameo type appearance, we get more of the full appearance in last weeks Year Of The Villain: Hell Arisen #3.

Doubt you’ll find any out in the wild and if you do, they’re likely up on the special wall at most shops. Tell us how you did if you flipped or were able to nab a copy.

Overshadowed by all the Punchline and Hell Arisen #3 hype, a book that likely got overlooked last week was the 2nd Printing of BANG! #1 which saw a low sale of around $8 but a high sale of $28.95.

I guess it helps additional printings when they have new cover art.

Ant-Man #2 Superlog 1:25 variant along with the new Avengers of the Wastelands #2 Federici 1:25 variants sold out pretty quickly at most retailers but these are those types of ratio variants if you’re patient, you can likely nab at a lower cost than retailers list them for.

Both are seeing sales dip below the starting retailer norm price range. If ya gotta have one for the personal collection, you can likely nab it for cheaper. If you’re really patient, wait a bit longer and you can likely get them for even cheaper.

The other overlooked Marvel ratio was Ravencroft #2 Skan 1:25 variant. Around a $30 if you bought it from a retailer but dirt cheap if you buy on the secondary if you are patient.

I like Skan’s work but the most recent sold for this one went for a cool $5.50 with ony 2 bids. See, cheap. Don’t spend retailer jacked up prices. Sometimes the secondary market can work in favor for the crap you want in the personal collection.

That’s all I got from last week I think that are worthy talking about. There was also the Spider-Ham #3 Nakayama ratio variant but it’s pretty much even steven for sales that retailers sell them for. There was a sold for $15 but not a whole lot of action going on.

If I missed anything or there’s a book you want to talk about from last week, tell us in the comments or start a discussion on the forums.

  1. HA3 A x 2 and B x 3. Sold two of my B covers for $90 total.

My extra A cover has a scuff and some spine dings…probably will dump that while I can get a good price for it…
