Another FOC Monday is upon us comic book collectors and speculators. FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering.
This weeks FOC list includes a 1:50 variant from Jenny Frison. Already being listed with pre-sales on eBay for $89.99 to $99.95, this will be a hard ratio variant to come by as we all know issue #2 for titles always dip pretty low from the first issues.
But this is just one sweet looking Frison cover if you ask me.
The other pick this week goes to the new Dark Horse title that takes place in the time period I’m a total sucker for.
Last Knight of St Hagan #1 is that pick.
“Some hauntings are more potent than others. A wily Polish spy, pursued by a group of Nazi enforcers, flees through the small town of Torun.
The year is 1939, the beginning of the German occupation, and he carries important information for the resistance. But a bullet, a tomb, and a ghost–perhaps even God–have their own plans for the spy, and they will involve the mystical crusader knight St. Hagan.
Mike Mignola and Scott Allie join with artist Andrea Mutti and colorist Lee Loughridge to bring you this dark tale of bloody intrigue and otherworldly horror.”
Not particularly a pick (more of an honorable mention) but on FOC this Monday is Batman #93. All things Batman are hot right now. With the new appearances popping up, creating buzz, Joker War on the horizon, you can sure bet most people boosting their orders for these.
It was also revealed there’s a 1:25 Variant of The Designer (which TFAW still sold out despite listing at $39.99 without any discount), to sort of match the 1:25 they did for Punchline (which is now approaching the $100 BIN range for raw copies for pre-sales but with most sold listings between $40-$60).
