Located at 1016 Juan Tabo Blvd., Albuquerque, New Mexico sits “Lobo Anime & Comics,” a popular destination for many comic book and pop culture enthusiasts alike. They are well known by their community for the ability to host something they call “Collector’s Cons” on different Saturdays throughout the year. This is basically a big SWAP meet for different collectors of comics, toys and collectibles. As we know, recently, things have been shaken up forcing many stores nationwide the scrambling to to quickly adapt out of necessity. Lobo immediately begun to offer delivery of subscribers’ pull boxes and having curbside pickup service before the State of New Mexico issued a SHELTER-IN-PLACE order on March 24. While the physical store and workers felt their ability to function had been impacted immensely. Connor, who runs the online sales department and web site is doing the best he can with his team to keep up with all the eBay and web site orders going out. While their eBay presence mainly consists of toys and collectibles, they still have various sets of comics that can be purchased as well. Stock is still being listed, and any orders are still being shipped on a daily basis! They are committed and hard at work to putting more merchandise up on the virtual storefront they maintain.
