This 4 day long event on Memorial Weekend always brings many surprises, and this year the weather in Phoenix was very cooperative with the barometer highs reaching 76, 88, 94, and 85. What a change.. Continue reading “Cruzzer’s Phoenix Fan Fusion Wrap Up”

Dark Horse Omnibus Books

We shouldn’t just collect or flip books, we should also read them. A good story can make your purchase well worth the money spent if you ask me. After all, we buy books to read for entertainment right? Even if you can’t flip them, reading is just as rewarding.” – AgentPoyo

It had been over 20 some years since I was that kid who went on a Boy Scout camping trip, and during the long hot Arizona van ride to the campgrounds, a kid passed me a copy of “Batman vs. Predator” that he had bought at the 7-11 were we had just stopped before our voyage started.  This is the first comic book I ever read. The joy I had in the story telling about two completely different universes coming together, but I had always been a fan of the movie Predator. Not knowing the world of comics, I discovered Dark Horse Comics which I tended to gravitate towards reading. Continue reading “Dark Horse Omnibus Books”

Cruzzer's Carol Danvers Keys Checklist

Until the last several years, Carol Danvers for a long time has been somewhat of a background individual as far as the main players in the Marvel Universe. Now she has become one of the centers characters in The Marvel Universe. 20 months from now, (March 2019) Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) will be debuting on movie theater screens all around the world as part of Phase Three in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am going to give CHU readers a quick run-down of Carol Danvers books of key books, some which you should start seeking out NOW before they are out of reach.
