    1. They are being shipped to them or have been shipped to them. They are free to do whatever they want with them. On Geppi’s live stream q and a they had on facebook he said they are going to do one regardless at some point.

    1. It is much better when you work from home alone but luckily for me, my kids are in their rooms on their computers in their own scheduled zoom meetings and such for school.

          1. Ha. Im halfway through my 40s and my son is 19 months. I feel your pain! But it is the best thing ever. Wouldnt trade it for anything

            1. Few years younger than you guys, not quite 40 yet. Got a 16 month old and working from home. It’s a good thing I took a few months of parental leave before all this! I don’t think I’d survive if I hadn’t!

                1. I did four months, then went back to work for two and a half before all this started. Now I work from home and take care of the kid.

Being actually at work is by far the easiest!

            1. Turning 46 in a couple weeks, I have a 6 and 10, I haven’t slept in past 6:30 am in 10 years. Good times tho!

                1. Have a 6 month old that is a lot of work compared to my first child when she was a baby. I haven’t slept in 6 months.

          2. My cutoff was 33 years old, no kids after age 33. We had the second one when I was 30. My purpose of having a cutoff age of 33 means they are likely moving out, going to college by the time I’m 50. So it works out perfectly cause I want to enjoy some more time without the kids before I’m too old to do anything.

            1. lol…..im 49 and have 2 daughters….4 yrs old and 18 months….with them and my comics every day. im on target for retirement in 6 years. hope it sticks…all being well

    2. I was fortunate that my kid graduated high school a year early last year and started college last fall. I’m also fortunate that she is stubborn enough to shelter with her boyfriend at his parent’s house 3 hours away.

  1. I have a question: is Blind Adam/Adam Anthony really blind, or does he use that to differentiate himself from Anthony?

You need to get someone ethnic for the site and call him Black Adam!

      1. We have a friend named Blind Adam usually comes out here once a year. He’s a handful to say the least makes us walk him to the bar at 4am so he can check and make sure it’s closed by pulling on the door and we’re not lying to him about what time it is. Was shot in the face by a shotgun as a teenager and has two glass eyes that really freak people out when he removes them.

        1. If you want to freak somebody out, pulling both of your eyes out is a sure fire way of doing just that. That is too funny, Alana. Lmfao

  2. I started looking for cheap 1:25 and 1:50 variants for titles I collect. A lot of Venom and Immortal Hulk variants that are way below ratio.

  3. Picked up books this week….
    Captain America #117 CGC6.0
Something is Killing the Children #1
    Killadelphia #1
Harley Quinn #1 cbcs 9.8 triple signed Hughes variant

      1. As far as I know, they’re still going to be getting books, they’re just not open to sell them. They’re non-essential so not even curbside. Shipping isn’t cheap up here so my LCS is not doing online. I’m good as long as I eventually get the books. In the meantime, I have no shortage of reading to catch up on!

  4. I am really blind.i have a form of cancder in the retna it is called r.p. and I was born with it.been going blind since the age of six .I really need to trademark blind adam one of these days.love you guys blind adam out

Swamp Thing 84: early Sandman appearance

    Thor 318: Tiki cover

    Notes:
I made some late comments in last week’s Open Forum if anyone missed them.

    1. I picked up 4 long boxes out of storage and got in another 1,000 bags and boards from fed ex today. Plus another 20 short boxes. Have been reorganizing.

  7. One data point on the FCBD question.

I’m on the hook for $3600 in expenses for FCBD books and I don’t expect there will be an event at all this year. We get almost 2,000 people coming through and there’s no way in hell I’m gonna be the subject of a news story a couple months later saying 3 people died after getting infected at my event. Until there are sporting events with 30,000 attendees I’m not gonna pack 2,000 people in a space the size of a small house in a single day. Would you host a party for 500 in your apartment before there’s a vaccine? I’ll eat the $3600 in cost and forego my typical $8,000 in sales that day.

We’ll toss a bagged samplers to subs. Donate a few thousand to doctor and dentist waiting rooms. And probably dumpster 5,000 or so. Then hope that we can do a real event again by May 2021.

    1. If you do sales online, maybe do a “Donate a extra buck from your order, we’ll throw in a book from FCBD and all the dollar donations goto the front line Doctors and Nurses” or something..
