This weeks variants are little light. Like, way light and the good ones are slim pickings.
So here’s the highlights I got.
Peach Momoko does a ratio for the new WYND #1 series coming out from BOOM!.
This one can go both ways if you ask me. If the series gets hot, gets an media option or deal, this sucker will explode. If it’s just a one and done series (since it’s a mini-series), it will likely go the opposite and could be in just about everyone’s budget. It’s still a pretty cool cover though.
There’s also now a secret trade dress variant of this same cover popping up on pre-sales, with a sketch variant as well. It’s a secret because the retailer didn’t do any marketing of it nor did the blast out pre-sales links to their social media groups. They just put on their site to let customers find it on their own.
There’s also a Dan Mora variant for WYND #1 that shouldn’t get overlooked. I really dig Mora’s art and I actually like his cover more than the regular main cover.
I don’t read Metal Men but this variant from Brian Bolland for issue #7 is really cool. I love all the bombs dropping from the air around them. Already sold out at Midtown.
This last pick is probably the easiest cover for any artist. I’m just a sucker for these all black variants though.. It’s probably my favorite out of all the Death Metal #1 books.
That’s all this week. Like I said, it’s a really small week and even smaller for variants.
What a screw up by DC on the death metal variants

Anyone who was buying these for $150 was also fools.. don’t they know DC ratio variants never hold up value..
Just like the first Dark Nights Metal #1 1:100, you can find it for $35 or so now..
Talk about irony!
