I hope it lives up to the hype! Big fan of all Cates older stuff and early Marvel work! Reuniting with Shaw, the artwork is incredible, and from all I’ve read, it’s going to be good! Must have been 30+ exclusives! The Last Ronin is also a book I’m expecting a lot from, with 60+ exclusives, I’m really hoping these books really stand up to the hype! Keep it lit?? Have a Horrific Halloween!
Donny Cates’ older stuff and early modern work 🙂 That would be waaaaaaay back in 2016.
Rob, I do a bit of writing and I know Cates from the indie days and he always wanted to do everything, I guess I meant Buzzkill, Paybacks, God Country, Rednecks, and then Marvel just really made it as if every issue is a must have, which I believe the story arcs on venom have become long, drawn out, new characters popping up left and right, or rather different versions of preexisting characters. Cates is great, but there’s so much talent out there, and a lot has changed in four years in my opinion, not just with Cates’ work, but with the industry as a whole; just my humble opinion.
