#10 MEET THE SKRULLS #1 (MARVEL, 2019) The end of WANDAVISION was (SPOILER)… well.. .skrully. The small-town feel of WANDAVISION and the end credit scene of a Skrull revealing herself to Monica helped bring attention to this series. Are the WARNERS (the Skrull family) already there? It sold 43 copies, had a 7-day trend of 121% and had a high sale of $19.50 for a raw copy.

#9 X-MEN #4 (MARVEL, 1992) This first cameo/cover appearance of OMEGA RED has been hot for a while thanks to speculation that he may appear in FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER. However, various YOUTUBE comic channels have now shared leaked images of Omega. This leak sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of 119% and had a high sale of $305 for a CGC 9.8.

#8 ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 (MARVEL, 2011) Soooo, it was last week when we said “$3k doesn’t seem impossible” and here we are… less than a week later a CGC 9.8 sold for $3,155!!! Mind…. Blown. It sold 48 copies, had a 7-day trend of 116% and (as noted) had a high sale of $3,155 for a CGC 9.8. Also, there is some recent rumors of a Miles introduction into the MCU. That still seems very unconfirmed… but it could be what fanned the flame.

#7 CHAMPIONS #1 (MARVEL, 2016) Not only is this series gaining popularity, but it’s also holding hands with YOUNG AVENGERS as a possible important series for the MCU. While Sam Alexander and Kamala are the only two confirmed for the MCU, the rest are not distant possibilities. Due to this, it sold 49 copies, had a 7-day trend of 157% and had a high sale of $155.50 for a CGC 9.8.

#6 SCARLET WITCH #2 (MARVEL, 1994) This issue features the first appearance of LORE, a Nexus being that jumps from one dimension to another who needs to feed on other Nexus Guardians. As fate would have it, Wanda (as the Scarlet Witch) is this dimension’s Nexus Guardian. Many are anticipating seeing LORE appear in future MCU projects when Wanda/ Scarlet Witch is involved. We shall wee. It sold 13 copies, had a 7-day trend of 661% and had a high sale of $65 for a raw copy.

#5 ACTION COMICS #9 (DC, 2012) As noted, speculation of WB developing SUPERMAN 2 as a Black Superman Story caused all Calvin Ellis-related books to sell. This particular issue is his first full appearance and origin. It sold 57 copies, had a 7-day trend of 159% and had a high sale of $145.49 for a raw copy.

#4 BATMAN #106 (DC, 2021) Here we go again? This issue features the first cameo appearance of MIRACLE MOLLY. She instantly draws comparisons to PUNCHLINE. However, can she live up to the same height that Punchline set? Fans are banking on it. It sold 90 copies, had a 7-day trend of 154% and had a high sale of $23.89 for a raw copy.

#3 WEST COAST AVENGERS #45 (MARVEL, 1989) As previously noted last week (SPOILER), THE VISION turned white and then fought the mind stone/Wanda version. And then (SPOILER) he just flew away after Wanda’s Vision turned on his memories. Where did he go? Will he be all white the next time we see him? The consensus seems to be yes. Regardless, it sold 168 copies, had a 7-day trend of 90% and had a high sale of $1,495 for a CGC 9.8.

#2 SPAWN #1 (IMAGE, 1992) As previously noted, SPAWN creator Todd McFarlane announced 4 new Spawn ongoing series focusing on GUNSLINGER SPAWN, MEDIEVAL SPAWN, REDEEMER SPAWN, and SHE-SPAWN. This news gave this fan-favorite #1 a significant boost in sales and price… and man did it have a big sale this week! It sold 51 copies, had a 7-day trend of 445% and had a high sale of $7,995 for a CGC 9.9!!!!

#1 ENIAC #1 (BAD IDEA, 2021) BAD IDEA’s publishing experiment definitely has the ears and eyes of the comic community and has been met with mixed opinions. However, their limited distribution and rigid retailer rules have been producing immediate high-performing market movers, like this title. It hit the market swinging and took the top spot this week with 184 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 127% and had a high sale of $215 for a raw copy!
