#11 STRANGE TALES #159 MARVEL | 1967 As seen in episode 5 & 6 of FALCON/CAPTAIN AMERICA AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, actress Julie Louise-Dreyfus appeared as CONTESSA VALENTINA ALLEGRO DE FONTAINE. Val’s first appearance is in this issue of Strange Tales. This issue continues to move with 36 copies, had a 7-day trend of 262% and had a high sale of $2,500 for a CGC 9.2.

#12 THE JOKER #2 DC | 2021 Despite the secret variant taking most of the market heat, the standard cover was the one who stayed on the list this week with the first appearance of Bane’s daughter, VENGEANCE. It sold 69 copies, had a 7-day trend of 96% and had a high sale of $20 for a raw copy.

#13 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #365 MARVEL | 1992 We know 2099 is coming to INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE #2. With recent spikes for the newsstand, this direct edition is jumpin into the mix with 31 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 157% and had a high sale of $375 for a CGC 9.8.

#14 MOON KNIGHT #1 MARVEL | 1980 Oscar Issac is currently preparing for his Moon Knight role. This is about all the news we’ve recently received. And maybe it’s enough for now., Fans continue to snatch up copies of his first solo series. It sold 37 copies, had a 7-day trend of 108% and had a high sale of $839 for a CGC 9.8.

#15 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #361 MARVEL | 1992 LET THERE BE CARNAGE! The current rumor is mid-May for a trailer… we’ll see. Meanwhile, the market will stay focused driving Carnage’s first full appearance up. It sold 35 copies, had a 7-day trend of 115% and had a high sale of $1,500 for a CGC 9.8.

#16 STAR WARS DARTH VADER #1 MARVEL | 2015 There are rumors that Wookies will appear in the Mandalorian Season 3 (yep, we’re officially on Mando spec again). Outside of Chewy, there’s significant fanfare over Black Krrsantan (a Bounty Hunter and associate of Dr. Aphra) potentially showing up if they do. His first appearance in this issue sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 116% and had a high sale of $149.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#17 MOON KNIGHT #1 MARVEL | 2014 This series features Marc Spector as Mr. Knight, rather than Moon Knight. This is a fan-favorite series and it looks like Marvel is bringing him back for an upcoming series. His first full appearance is in this issue, despite showing up in his Mr. Knight costume in SECRET AVENGERS #19. This Moon Knight #1 sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 156% and had a high sale of $50 for a raw copy.

#18 SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #1 LCSD 2020 FOIL | IMAGE | 2019 SIKTC #1 standard cover is on fire, thanks to recent rumors of a show coming to Netflix. As that cover (and all the various variants) get more expensive, this more affordable foil LCSD variant is the best consolation prize for missing those early issues. It sold 34 copies, had a 7-day trend of 103% and had a high sale of $120 for a CGC 9.8.

#19 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #300 MARVEL | 1988 This first full appearance of VENOM isn’t slowing down. This week’s new CGC 9.8 sale of $5,901.99 marks an all-new high for this book. Excluding the film excitement, comic book-wise… it’s clear that Marvel continues to be deeply invested in Venom… hence these high prices. The long-term question is… can/will Marvel fold him (officially) into the MCU? It sold 31 copies, had a 7-day trend of 107% and had a high sale of $530 for a CGC 9.8.

#20 NEW AGENTS OF ATLAS #1 MARVEL | 2019 Kevin Feige has previously noted that, in regards to Asian-based characters in the MCY, “We’ve announced a number of shows and we’ve got more in the works.” This news sent speculators racing to this series, which continues to increase in price. This week it sold 31 copies, had a 7-day trend of 107% and had a high sale of $530 for a CGC 9.8.

  1. ASM #300 doesn’t disappoint. That book in a CGC 9.8 is going to hit 10k very soon! 9.6 copies I guess are still cheap…compared to the 9.8’s anyway. That book is just nuts!
