Moon Knight Vol. #25
Moon Knight #25 is probably the second most sought after issue in the first solo title series which has the Black Spectre’s first appearance. The all black cover doesn’t help finding these in tip top shape either.
This one is a must key book I think. This one in 9.8 grade can and does command just as much as the first issue in this volume.
Marc Spector: Moon Knight #57
Everyone loves that Amazing Spider-Man #300 cover right? You all tired of the all the homages we keep seeing for this cover? Well, just so you know, this started long ago as Marc Spector: Moon Knight #57 saw a homage to ASM #300 so it’s nothing new that’s been going on.
If you collect ASM #300 covers and homages, you’ll need to add this one to your list of wants.
Moon Knight Vol. 1 #12
Moon Knight #12 gives us first Morpheus and Detective Flint in this issue, which makes this a key book particularly if they ever show up in the show.
Moon Knight Vol. 1 #15
Moon Knight #15 makes the list because it’s a pretty cool Jusko and Frank Miller cover. Also first appearance of Xenos.
Moon Knight Vol. 1 #29
Moon Knight #29 is another all black cover which is hard to find and come by in minty plus condition. This one brings back Werewolf by Night, where Moon Knight was introduced. That makes this one pretty special I think.
That ends the early Moon Knight key and must have issues. These were all the books that pre-date the 2000 era. Maybe we’ll try to highlight some of the more modern key books in the next Moon Knight installment list.

Lets hope the writer of the upcoming Moon Knight monthly title has plans to have the character form his own team consisting of himself Black Crow Spiderwoman The Shroud The Judge Mayhem and Nocturne.
You missed out on the hulk magazine appearances. Came out before Moon Knight 1 and has Bill S first art.

#11 was the first Moon Knight in the run….#13 is the first Bill S (I can’t spell his name) on MK
Yeah, that’s right. I have issues spelling his name too.. I have to sit and think about it for a second. Sienkiewicz. I do it in installments.. Sien… Kie… wicz.. the cz at the end always throws me off, I want to throw an S in there.. 😉

There are reprints for the hulk magazine appearances in moon knight special edition
Yeah. I would imagine these Hulk Magazines would be more sought after if they had Moon Knight on the covers, like a small image of him in the corner, etc. Probably the only thing holding these back in bigger popularity is a) long after first appearance and b) he’s just the back stories as the primary focus is Hulk.
