DCC still hanging in there. The FCBD book sold 20 copies with a high of $15. Raw average hitting $12.
13 Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars Vol 1 #8 – Direct
The debut of the black costume (aka Venom) had a top weekly sale of $288 for a slabbed 9.2. Raws averaging $164 in the VF range, and 39 copies moved.
14 Nova Vol 1 #1
Nova is back with news on the Nova Disney+ show. The news helped move 22 copies with a VF top seller at $69
15 Absolute Batman #16 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
The first meeting between Absolute Batman and Wonder Woman hangs in there. Top weekly sale of $25 with average sales hitting $16.
16 Absolute Batman #14 – Derrick Chew
Absolute Batman shifted the landscape putting DC on top. This one features Absolute Harley with a recent top sale of $65 for a CGC 9.8. The Chew cover sold 11 copies with raws hitting $11
17 X-Men Vol 1 #221 – Direct
Rumor has it that Adam Driver may be playing Mr. Sinister. That would make sense of the recent sales of $275 for a CGC 9.8 copy of his first appearance, and 11 raws selling for n average of $43.
18 Absolute Batman #22 – Dan Quintana
This Dan Quintana cover is off to a good start. While raw copies are averaging $6 each, a sale of a 9.8 commanded $75. Popular artist and hot character were the perfect storm moving 133 copies of the issue.
19 Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1 #252 – Ron Frenz – Newsstand
Spider-Man’s next movie is still in the future, but rumors have made rounds. Early black costumed Spider-Man are all the rage again. This week we saw a top sale of $1475 for a 9.8, or about 10x what the raws are averaging, $142.
20 Captain America #12 – Mark Spears – Magic The Gathering Virgin (1:50)
Mark Spears’ first Marvel cover hangs in the top 20 still, but with a big bump in price. A raw copy sold for $300, 8 copies sold averaging $209.
