Nowhere Men #7 Sold out at Diamond.

The popular series, Nowhere Men, returns on 1/20/16, and with it, hopefully, a return to higher back issue prices. The fantastic series, written by Eric Stephenson and drawn by Nate Bellegarde, ended abruptly a few years back and had issues with lateness before that, finally returns.
The newest issue Nowhere Men #7 is sold out at Diamond Comic Distributors two weeks before the release of the issue.
Once a spec darling based on awesome story telling, the heat died off when the shipping schedule became choppy and then ending. Nowhere Men #7 marks the return of the series and solicitations for the next few issues are up as well.
Remember, when we mention books that have sold out, we are talking about at the distributor level. This does not mean you will not be able to find them in stores, instead, once the copies they ordered are gone, they will not be able to order additional first prints.
It is odd for an Image book to sell out early since they upped their number of copies distributed, especially for first issues, but with this being an existing property with a loyal fan base, the size of the print run could be much lower.
Expect a second printing.
Thanks to the shop that gave me the heads up, they attempted to order just a few extras to find that the Diamond system was showing just five copies. None of the copies could be ordered however.

  1. So stoked! I took a gamble and bought a bunch of CGC #1s after the series ended and dropped in price.
