If you have not watched last nights The Walking Dead (Season 6 Episode 9) Mid Season Premier do not read on as there are some spoilers. Also, you missed out on one hell of an episode. But more importantly, do not read on.
Anyway, we gave you the chance to turn away.
So Carl finally got shot in the eye. This happened in The Walking Dead #83. Copies of The Walking Dead #83 shot off the virtual shelves last night after it happened. Cheap copies were scooped for as low as $8.99 and going for as high as $39.99. New Copies are being listed at $50.00.
The other interesting thing that happened in The Walking Dead #83. Copies of The Walking Dead #83 is Morgan died. Interesting to see if this happens on the show as well.

That was probably the best episode ever.
Excellent episode! Picked up Walking Dead #49-93 over the weekend for $100, so this news make the deal that much sweeter!
That’s a great price.
Holy sh*t. What an amazing episode last night!
I think since with Morgan there was such a large gap, I think they’ll keep him around unless the actor has some other things going on outside of the show (which was one of the reasons he had such large gaps between episodes previously).
If you missed out, just wait a bit and these prices will drop some. If you can find cheap, flip’em while you can though. 😉
Also, we should be getting really close to Jesus appearing on the show. For those that want to still grab his 1st appearance at a reasonable cost, better go seek out #91 and #92 now before they explode, since he plays such a huge role in the comics for issues to come.. we can probably expect him to be a big character on screen as well.
Agreed. I wish I didn’t already sell the five copies I have randomly picked up. Still have my personal copy.
Yeah but did you make profit?
I always sell at a profit. 🙂 I got them for cover at my honey hole.

You didn’t lose then…. 🙂
I know, it is always the game of, and I advise getting into this thought pattern, did I leave money on the table
I had completely forgotten that Morgan also died in this issue. It was one of the best episodes. They need to save those rockets the first one was needed, but the second one that was a waste.
Holy crap the rocket was awesome. Totally unexpected since they showed the first four minutes as a trailer. It was definitely a different cut than what was shown on the Internet.

I called of stored and no one seams to have a copy. Oh well….
Yeah, tis why Walking Dead’s are just great pickups. Even if you don’t read them, there’s a good chance they’ll go up in value over time as long as the show continues. The common issues tend to end up at $10 or more and even then, some are $20 or more when the availability of them is even slimmer since most fans are tucking them away into their collections.
But….. what about TWD #98? Dwight’s severed head won’t make much of an impact on the show.
My only problem with this episode was the pacing and as a result some of the deaths had little impact. If I were buying WD comics 98 2nd print would be on my list.
Deaths always simmer down.. they won’t or don’t hold value like 1st Appearances do.
One of the best episodes to date! It showed exactly why I love this show so much. I knew once that happened to Carl, that the first appearance of one-eyed Carl would get attention.
