The Archie TV show, which is rumored to include Afterlife with Archie Halloween episodes, has just cast it’s Kevin Keller.
The first “openly gay” character in the Archie universe first appeared in the already priced Veronica #202. There is also a more affordable ($20 range) 2nd Print
Newcomer Casey Cott has landed the role of Kevin Keller in “Riverdale,” The CW’s Archie Comics drama.
Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who wrote the pilot, made the announcement over the weekend on Twitter.
Created in 2010 by Dan Parent, Kevin Keller is Archie’s first openly gay character. He’s said to play a prominent role in the television pilot, which offers a “subversive” take on the world of Archie Comics.
Let me know when those Afterlife episodes come around haha.
Hopefully more regular than the book.

Miracleman got delayed again. That was next up on my list of exciting items being released. If Afterlife doesn’t start coming regularly….I…..I just give up.
I heard rumors that it was a potential legal thing
From everything I’ve read so far about this new Archie show it can go either way…huge hit or huge bomb.
Just picked up #202.Looking forward to this show. There are just so many cool stories and designs in the past 20 years to draw on and Kevin Keller is one.
