Black Eyed Kids Joe Pruitt Signing Results

I always like to come on here after a signing and give the results of the signings. This went really well. Joe Pruett was awesome to talk to and I got signed copies for everyone who requested them. As you see below, they came our incredible. I picked a signature placement  that would not interfere with the art. Most were signed in bronze (comes off looking a little gold in the pictures) until my bronze sharpie died.

(Just a heads up, invoices will be sent tomorrow)

Joe Pruett has been in the industry for a long time and has some great stories. I sat and spoke with him for over thirty minutes like we were best friends. He was truly one of the creators that makes the hobby fun.

In addition, he is also the publisher and owns a large portion of the company. He mentioned a face book big-wig being the remaining owner. Money involved in other words. As a publisher he let a lot out that I cannot print. I wish I could, but he asked me not to. What I can say is look for cheap copies of Strayer #1, American Monster #1, Replica #1, and Black Eyed Kids #1 especially the 1:10 variant and the Ssalefish variants before any news comes out.

Also on hand was Paul Jenkins. I wish I had been better prepared or would have brought a ton of books for him to sign.  I did get both of them to sign the Aftershock Genesis Issue, in hindsight should have had both sign a bunch more.

Any Chu was there, and even though I already have a signed copy from Midtown, had her sign a Poison Ivy Circle of Life and Death #1 for me.

  1. Sorry I missed this one. Any extras, let me know! Glad you had a good signing!

  2. With a small print run it looks like 10% of the books are sitting on the table!
