Another Wednesday is upon us, like Christmas every week, even if it’s a smaller week, Wednesday is by far the best day.
This week brings more exciting books, so keep reading to find out what Poyo says you should be picking up to read, or flip. I am right sometimes too….
DC/Vertigo Pick
Honestly there is just nothing too exciting hitting the shelves from DC, so I’m picking Superman.
Superman #10 (DC) – It’s still part of my pull list to read, better than Batman currently. So yeah, it’s my DC pick of the week, particularly the Andrew Robinson variant cover.
Marvel Pick
Foolkiller #1 (Marvel) – I envision this one like Superior Foes of Spider-Man, which was one of Marvels best reads in the past 4-5 years. It’s also written by Max Bemis, who’s been a great read on most of his titles he’s written for. There is a Rob Liefeld Variant and a big boy Rob Liefeld 1:100 that many stores will not get due to not ordering enough copies.
It’s Always A Pick Pick
Walking Dead #160 (Image) – Is there really any reason to explain why Walking Dead is always a pick? I didn’t think so.
Indie Spec Pick of the Week
Motor Girl #1 (Abstract Studios) – It’s a new Terry Moore book. Can’t go wrong here.
Don’t forget to be on the look out for any leftover Halloween Comic Fest books as well. Like myself, I didn’t get a chance to hit up the local shops to pick up a few.
That’s all I got this week. Lots of good books but I’m trying my darndest to keep them narrowed down.

I just read Superman 1-4, and i think its the best Reborn book that i read so far…HOOKED! Haven’t read Detective Comics yet, but ill go on a binge read this weekend and see what its all about.
Detective Comics isn’t bad, I think it’s better than Batman currently. I’m a little behind though, but I’m a Batman fan so even if I’m not reading them religiously, I’m still picking up Detective Comics and Batman because of their title alone.
