Make sure to head over to CovrPrice.com for you comic Price Guides, Collection Management, and a lot more!

#10 CANTO #1 (IDW, 2019) Per Deadline, “Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios have optioned rights to the graphic novel Canto and are adapting the fantasy series as an animated feature”. Those who have followed the adventures of this low printed series since its launch will not be surprised by this week’s big sales of a #1 raw copy for $380 or a graded 9.8 for $1,200. Across two series and a one-shot story, Canto quickly built up an enthusiastic fan base. Comichron notes 6,318 copies were ordered by stores, but many of those were damaged. The infamous “Canto crease” about midway down the spine plagues many copies of the comic, making 9.8 grades extremely rare. Last week’s news helped sell 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 254% and (as noted) had a high sale of $1,200 for a CGC 9.8.

#9 MARVEL’S VOICES #1 (MARVEL, 2020) This book has two things going for it… it’s both a cameo appearance of THE CHILDREN OF THE ATOM as well as the first appearance of the Goddess Spider (the spider that bit Peter Parker and Cindy Moon). It sold 43 copies, had a 7-day trend of 161% and had a high sale of $58 for a NM raw.

#8 WEST COAST AVENGERS #45 (MARVEL, 1989) White Vision is still trending. It’s unknown when and how we’ll see him again… but fans believe he’ll stay white. Hence, this continues to move 72 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102% and had a high sale of $560 for a CBCS 9.8.

#7 ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 (MARVEL, 2011) This book is unbelievable. It sold 58 copies, had a 7-day trend of 129% and had a high sale of $3,204.48 for a CGC 9.8. There’s really nothing more to say than wow. Just wow.

#6 SPIDEY SUPER STORIES #1 (MARVEL, 1974) Oh boy, this book sure spurred plenty of online debates. Starting from Youtube channels MERCENAUT, a recent video showcasing a “first” Black Spider-Man, long before Miles Morales. Debates range from how most of the book is a dream to others pointing out when Hobie Brown (who is also Spider-Punk in alternate Spider-verses) donned the Spider-suit in Amazing Spider-Man #87 (as an adult). Regardless of any debate, it’s all simply fun historical knowledge that presents some fun talking points. It doesn’t change anything when it comes to Miles… but still interesting. This new spotlight sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of 165% and had a high sale of $157.97 for a CGC 8.5. This is a series that Blind Adam has referenced numerous times in his Hidden Gems that is finally getting love.

#5 SLAM #1 (BOOM!, 2016) Per Deadline, “Roller Derby Comic Adaptation ‘Slam!’ In The Works At HBO Max As Animated Series With Pamela Ribon, Rooster Teeth Studios & BOOM! Studios”. This option news sold 16 copies, had a 7-day trend of 788% and had a high sale of $149.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#4 ENIAC #1 (BAD IDEA, 2021) This holdover heater remains at the top of the list with 122 sold copies, a 7-day trend of 139% and had a high sale of $225 for a raw copy. Interest in this new publisher strategy remains high.

#3 LENORE #1 (SLAVE LABOR, 1998) Gaiman has been attached to this comic since the 2011 SDCC when it was announced by creator, Roman Dirge, that Gaiman would act as Executive Producer with Sony Family Entertainment producing the feature film. The script was ultimately rejected by Dirge, and here we are 10 years later, still with Gaiman on board, but with Canadian Multinational, eOne, now developing the project. Great news for Lenore fans, and with that, we have seen a recent spike in value for the 1998 SLG issue #1. It sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 918% and had a high sale of $199.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#2 MYSTERY GIRL #1 (DARK HORSE, 2015) Per Deadline, “Tiffany Haddish To Produce & Star In ‘Mystery Girl’ Adaptation For Dark Horse Entertainment & Netflix; McG Directing”. This news helped sell 27 copies with a 7-day trend of 1,023% and had a high sale of $43.95 for a raw copy.

#1 NOTTINGHAM #1 (MAD CAVE, 2021) You would think this book is trending due to content news. But, nope. This new series, featuring a new twist on Robin Hood, was just a scorcher this week and sold 78 copies, had a 7-day trend of 665% and had a high sale of $50 for a raw copy.

  1. At covrprice, top hot comics is also useful and changes several times daily. Unlike top 10 which remains unchanged for days. Higher prices for some new comics revealed early after checking with ebay sales. For example, Serial 2.
