I always like to come on and show some of the results of the signings I attend. Here is Copperhead
with Jay Faerber and Scott Godlewski
First and foremost they were extremely nice guys. While there, I heard person after person compare the book to Saga. They differed the comparison and said they hoped they could live up to the comparison.

Pictured above are The Third Eye Variants signed, the regular covers signed and a remarked copy with a head sketch of Boo.
I did run into another reader at the signing, I want to say Steve, but I am horrible with names, especially when working on a lack of sleep. It’s always awkward for me when someone recognizes me from the website, not in a bad way, but I always admit I am just a guy who reads comics so I am extremely humbled by people telling me they read the site. I am still surprised anyone views the site let alone 100,000 a month. Anyway Steve it was cool talking to you.
That’s Copperhead, not Wayward! 😉
So freaking tired last night when I put it up I combined the Wayward signing I did last weekend with the Copperhead signing from this week.
You remembered correctly, it was great talking to you too. Jay and Scott seemed very appreciative of the positive comments about their book. They confirmed this is definitely an ongoing and they have a lot of story to tell – if they get the chance to tell it. As is always the case, we (the comic book community) will decide that for them. I hope this turns into another awesome monthly series, there can never be to many for me!
Thanks Steve. Sorry that I was wobbly on your name. Yes. I overheard them talking at how surprisingly nice everyone was and how shocked they were with the positive reception of this book. They were just chatting amongst themselves and it made me smile. I was not fully sold in the book until the last page. But the last page hooked me. They are definitely building something epic. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
I figured it was the late night tired post. It’s all good! 🙂
Yeah. Finally slept this afternoon
Someone dropped the Infinite Crisis DC Omnibus on me so I’ve been tackling that huge book this weekend. I swear I think it’s growing larger with more pages as I’m reading it. I’m not a huge DC fan but I’m actually enjoying it thus far. They also dropped the 52 Omnibus on me as well, so it’s next after this one. I’m so happy I’m caught up on my readings, especially since this past week was a small one for me instead of the usual 20 issue week I usually have.
I am still behind. Weekends aren’t as peaceful as I’d like.
