FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering. Here’s a few of the highlights for this week…
Here are the few highlight picks I got this week for final order cutoff…
Stuff of Nightmares Slay Ride #1 (Cover A – Francavilla) is one to buy for the read. Don’t expect any spec or heat here but enjoy the R.L. Stine writing along with the Francavilla cover… There are other covers but at $7.99, I’d stick to just one copy.
Stuff of Nightmares Slay Ride #1 (Cover B – Frison)
Stuff of Nightmares Slay Ride #1 (Cover C – Homage Variant) Meracdo
Stuff of Nightmares Slay Ride #1 (Cover D – Glow Dark Francavilla)

I like this new cover for Capwolf Howling Commandos #1 (2nd Ptg Carlos Magno Variant).
The first print is still available as well.
There’s a few more second prints on the radar…
Captain Marvel #1 (2nd Ptg JTC Variant) is for you negative space collectors out there. This one stands out for me since I like space in general. I jumped off the bandwagon long ago on these just like the action figure variants from JTC but this one might be an exception in grabbing.
And another negative space variant for you Spider-Boy fans is on FOC with Spider-Boy #1 (2nd Ptg JTC Variant). Nothing really new though, there was also a first print of this cover.
Here’s one for the cover. I really dig this one from Peach Momoko for Miles Morales Spider-Man #13 (Peach Momoko Nightmare Variant).
Now on to all the Moon Knight FOC titles.
Moon Knight #30 is ending. Hints at death possibly or maybe a new personality but all we know is there’s gonna be some changes after this issue leading into the next title which is mentioned after this one.

A new phase is coming out of Dark Horse for Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III #1. I’ve enjoyed Dark Horse and even IDW’s (before they lost the rights) take on the High Republic.
Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III #1 (Soroush Barazesh Variant Cover)
Brubaker is a master narrator and story teller. This is how comics should be done, great story telling. It also doesn’t hurt when you team up with Phillips, known for his work alongside Brubaker to tell the story. So with that said, they got a new original graphic novel out called Where the Body Was HC.
I’ve got an advanced preview and I started reading a few pages which got me hooked. Just need to find the time to go back and finish reading it. If you like stories that make you feel like you are part of the story and in the characters minds, then Brubaker and Phillips are a must pick up.
That’s all I got this time. Join or start the discussion over on the forums!
