Not sure how I feel about this one, as a long time Frank Castle fan for Punisher. But nonetheless, Punisher #1 is a new volume with a new guy taking over the reigns as Punisher while Frank is missing.
Maybe I’ll go ahead and predict that this new guy ends up finding Frank, Frank returns as The Punisher and this guy goes off with a new name to continue punishing the guilty!

Thanos #1 is already sold out at TFAW. As a huge Thanos fan, I’m normally picking these up when he gets his own title.

DC Picks
Batman #139 (Cover A – Jorge Jimenez) got my attention cause I really dig the cover. I really miss covers that sort of tell you what’s going on in the story. Marvel.. do more action or story telling covers like this instead of the lame posing from the characters!
The Batman #139 (Cover E – Bane McFarlane Toys Action Figure Card Stock Variant) is pretty cool too and already sold out at some online retailers on a quick spot check.
Probably one of the best Batman story arcs ever was the Court of Owls so Absolute Batman the Court of Owls HC is a must for any true fan! I’m also a believer in trades, hardcovers and omnibuses, they prevent you having to handle your precious floppy copies! You can also snag this from Amazon if you are done with TFAW (previous link for reference).
Indie and Small Publisher Picks
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ongoing #145 (Cover F – Dia De Los Muertos) is one for the cover. Love it!
That’s all for the smaller publishers. Not a lot stood out. There’s a few new Image titles but honestly, Image puts out more garbage than non garbage most of the time. Gonna have to skim or read a few before deciding to pick up.
