Bryan Singer confirms plans for Fantastic Four to crossover with X-Men

Fox, say what you will, has two of Marvel’s big film properties and has no plans to release them back to Marvel. Wth that being said, word came out that Bryan Singer has confirmed plans to have the two groups cross-over in a film.

From Comicbook.com

Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but X-Men director Bryan Singer already wants the rebooted First Family in his mutant sandbox.

In a recent interview, Singer—who’s busy filming next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse—revealed that there’s been initial talks of a live-action X-Men and Fantastic Four crossover.

“Those ideas are in play,” he says. “That would be a natural match-up because they’re both ensemble films and there is a natural mechanism by which to do it.”

So there you have it. plans to cross Marvel’s first family with Marvel’s Mutant family. Will need to see if this ends up borrowing from any story line in particular (X-Men Vs. Fantastic Four for example) or be something else entirely.

  1. It’s sounds alright. Not the best decision in my opinion but we will see where this goes.

  2. That sounds like a great idea, put together two horrible movie franchises and hope for the best. People will always go watch these movies no matter what, so when it fails…….reboot

  3. Maybe they will make Wolverine an Eskimo and ever member of the Xmen who are male, female and those who are female, male… Throw in a few transgenders with conflicting religions and you have yourself a piece of politically correct…. movie stuff. Just sell the properties back to ABC/Disney makes a billion or two and be done with it.

  4. I’m looking forward to this. Fox is making good movies hate on them all you want. I particularly saw Avengers 2 and was highly disappointed, the film did nothing for me except have a few cool cgi scenes.
