Image Comics is pleased to unveil a nine page preview for the upcoming series Petrol Head #1 by writer Rob Williams (Suicide Squad) and artist Pye Parr (2000 AD). That Texas Blood duo Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips have another hit on their hands with their new Western miniseries The Enfield Gang Massacre. The series’ debut issue has sold out completely at the distributor level and will be rushed back to print this week in order to keep up with escalating reorder activity.

The reprint issue will also feature new cover art by Sean Phillips (Night Fever, Reckless).

Just when you thought summer was over, here comes the heat! Unfortunately I’m talking temperature outside and not the comic book market.

Another FOC is upon us, CHU’zers. I know I’m not the only one who thinks the market is a little “meh” these days. Even the weekly books have been less than exciting the past several months. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some cool books worthy of picking up, whether it be for the read, a cover for the PC, or even to stash one or two away for the long term. Skybound, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, revealed a first look at Universal Monsters: Dracula #1, the debut issue of a new extra-length four-part comic book limited series from the best-selling team of Eisner Award-winning writer James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, The Nice House on the Lake) and artist Martin Simmonds (Swan Songs), who have earned multiple Eisner Award nominations for their hit series The Department of Truth.
