Actress Krysten Ritter, from ‘Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 is said to have been cast in the title role in the Marvel/Netflix show Jessica Jones.
According to Comic Book Resources Krysten Ritter has been selected to play Jessica Jones.
The character first appeared in Alias #1 by Brian Michael Bendis, is one of several series to get a show on Netflix.

My thoughts are meh. I’ve only seen her in Breaking Bad but I wasn’t impressed with her acting.
Honestly, I cant stand the hipster look she has.
Yeah but she’s hot when she removes those hipster clothes.. 😉
Its the hair and the eye brows that get me. I havent seen her in anything (or out of anything) else.
I just like brunettes. I take her for more of the gothic looking type.

I saw she was up for the role… and now it’s confirmed… I’ve liked her in what I’ve seen her in, but those have all been comedic roles. And her brand of “bitchy” cattiness in Don’t Trust The B— In Apartment 23 isn’t exemplary of Jessica Jones’ miserable/tired bitchiness. And she is younger & skinnier than I picture Jessica Jones to be. I’m still hoping for the best, but I’ve been a fan of Jessica Jones from Day One, so this casting news has me thinking they may be giving the character a different spin than her comic book counterpart. We already knew they’d have to change a lot, since she can’t be a former Avenger or have past connections with so many heroes, but I figured her portrayal would stay the same…
