Stargirl Coming to Legends of Tomorrow

More DC news coming out of SDCC Stargirl will be appearing on Legend’s of Tomorrow.

Stargirl’s first appearance is in Stars and STRIPE #0 (however some sources list it as DCU Heroes Secret Files & Origins #1)

While the second season hasn’t started filming yet, the teaser features some new lines of dialogue from Arthur Darvill’s Rip Hunter.
At the panel, a number of Justice Society members — including Obsidian, Commander Steel, and Stargirl — were confirmed to appear in the second season, alongside the Legion of Doom, the series’ second-season antagonists, in the form of Matt Letscher’s Reverse-Flash, Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk, John Barrowman’s Malcolm Merlyn, and Captain Cold.

  1. hmmm. Stars and Stripe 0 looks to have been released July 1999 where DCU HEROES SECRET FILES & ORIGINS #1 came out Feb 1999. I wonder what the discrepancy is? Time wise those seem to be far enough apart.. Is it a cameo vs.full appearance thing? Haven’t read either so I don’t know either way.

    1. Comicvine has both of the issues listed for the first appearance. On the side bar it states DCU Heroes but in the article it states Stars and STRIPE 0. DC Wiki and eBay search both come up with S&S 0

      1. Well, I was able to find a copy of DCU cheap, so I’ll be pulling for that one ;)… Just be glad they didn’t announce Shuma Gorath for anything big…yet… He is only mentioned in his first appearance…speaks in his second but is not seen …and not until his third do you actually get to see him…Talk about confusion in regard to placing an actual first appearance!

  2. Most of this footage was from Season 1. I love the show, but they didn’t show much of a preview of Season 2 here.

  3. I haven’t even watched the first season yet. I barely finished Flash & Arrow over the past few weeks; along with everything else I am still catching up on. But I remember the spec on Stargirl from back when she showed up on Smallville! At the time, Stars & Stripe#0 was considered her first appearance, and there was no mention of the Secret Files & Origins appearance. However, maybe this was just undiscovered at the time, and actually does contain a significant appearance. If anyone has one to check out, let us know! Kendra Saunders’ official first appearance actually was in JSA Secret Files & Origins#1, so Stargirl’s could be prominent enough in one of these that it counts!
