The Diamond Comics Advance Reorder List is a great speculator tool. It shows what books retailers are going back to get more of, in advance of their release. They are actually putting their money up betting these books get big. These are the books people are talking about in shops, message boards, and websites. Here is the Diamond Comics Advance for 8/28/18:

Batman Damned is top dog this week taking up the first two slots. With gorgeous art by Lee Bermejo it is easy to see why. Cemetery Beach from Image also has collector’s eyes with three of the four covers making the list. Stalwarts like Venom, Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, and Hulk pretty much fill up the rest of the spots. Good week for Marvel sales. Man-Eaters #1 from Image also makes the list, I do want to check this out myself, however we have a very strict no glitter rule in my house and not sure the Glitter Variant will be coming home with me. One variant that will be coming home with me is the Catwoman #3 Artgerm cover. That’s just a great looking book and one of the reasons Artgerm is so well liked. Oh, and let’s not forget that incredible Mark Brookes Detective Variant.
