Final Order Cut-Off Highlights for 9/30/19

Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 9/30/19’s FOC list.

Final order cut off is Monday night, but you should still be able to secure these online. Not a huge week this week but some good ones.

Marvel

AMAZING MARY JANE #1 ARTGERM VARIANT – I am sure there will be a ton of store covers but this Artgerm is just awesome. Pick one up for the PC. There is also a NYCC Variant. The 1:25 Gomez Variant, and the 1:100 Hidden Gems variant (amounts others) worth looking at.

FUTURE FIGHT FIRSTS LUNA SNOW #1 – Loving this In-Hyuk Lee Cover.

INCREDIBLE HULK #1 FACSIMILE EDITION – One of those ones out of my price range currently, so grabbing a facsimile to hold its place.

MARAUDERS #1 – Loving the relaunch of the X-Men. This is the Pirate X-Men if you will. Some cool covers on this one like the Every Mutant Ever Connecting cover, the 1:50 Todd Nauck Variant, and the 1:100 Hidden Gems variant.

TRUE BELIEVERS X-MEN APOCALYPSE #1 – See the origins of Apocalypse for $1.

DC

BATMAN BEYOND #37 – Batwoman Beyond starts here. We got a cameo of her in the shadows in Batman Beyond #36

BATMAN SUPERMAN #3 – Loving the series. Superman in disguise as a Man Who Laughs.

DOLLAR COMICS SWAMP THING #1 – I just dropped a good deal of money on a first print not long ago. This is a classic book worth reading. Grab a dollar copy!

JOKER KILLER SMILE #1 – Black Label Joker book. A great read.

TALES FROM THE DARK MULTIVERSE DEATH OF SUPERMAN #1 – This looks awesome. In a broken world much like our own, Lois Lane, twisted by rage and grief, becomes the Eradicator and takes revenge on those who let Superman die, and the corrupt world he could never defeat. Now, with the power of a god, she’s going to end the battle by any means necessary…and the Reign of the Supermen will be over before it begins!

MONEY SHOT #1 – This is an odd one. There are some more “adult” covers by Mirka Andolfo and Tim Seeley that come black bagged. In the near future, space travel is ludicrously expensive and largely ignored. Enter Christine Ocampos, inventor of the Star Shot teleportation device. Her big idea: She’ll travel to new worlds, engage-intimately-with local aliens, and film her exploits for a jaded earth populace trying to find something new on the internet. Now, Chris and her merry band of scientist-cum-pornstars explore the universe, each other, and the complexities of sex in MONEY SHOT!

COUNT CROWLEY RELUCTANT MONSTER HUNTER #1 – Aspiring reporter Jerri Bartman is furious when she’s demoted to hosting the nightly Creature Feature at her small-town TV station. But Jerri quickly learns that there is more to horror hosting than just introducing bad B-movies. Her first night in the costume of her missing predecessor- Count Crowley- finds her face to face with a living- breathing . . . werewolf. Or was she just that drunk? * Featuring the dynamic creative team of David Dastmalchian and Lukas Ketner! * The perfect comic for the Halloween season!

  1. Anthony…don’t you know you’re killing the spec value of all these books!!! Blasphemy!!!

    Just kidding…?

    Lovin’ that Hulk #1 Facsimile.

Also will be looking to acquire a few copies of Batman Beyond 37A. But didn’t Batman Beyond Unlimited #18 introduce Batwoman Beyond? I don’t know much about the unlimited series and whether it’s “Beyond” cannon, but going to look into it…either way but feeling is there will eventually be a mini series with this character…

Tales of the Dark Universe looks cool…at
    Least the cover does…

    1. Jared. This has been well known and all over Facebook since it appeared in Previews. Sorry you dislike the posts. We get it. However, I would say that the previews image and the spread of information on Facebook would be more of a cause. You do know you do not have to read posts you do not like?

  2. I appreciate all the work you put in Anthony. I especially like the Previews articles that talk about the indie releases. The catalog is so massive sometimes I miss stuff. Money Shot looks crazy I preorder most of what Vault puts out lots of good reads. I’m thinking about grabbing the Marauders 1:25 the Emma Frost cover is wicked

  3. first of all.going to go on a rant .dear jerad if I spelt the name worng jus flame me but whats worng did the a-holes over at facts reject you?chu is a great place if you think a small but growning site and a group of swet fans, store owners, flipers whatever the duck runined batman beyond do us a favor leave the d.d.m.f.ing hobby I am sick of this crap I am sick of places ,sites&friends that took a blind dude in and helped him stay in the comic book game sight no sight whatever the duck .I am sick of chu,key collector comics tom 101&comic book wars getting heat from the assclons o
facts is a cancer on this industry if anyone doesn’t like a story on chu go tothe next one if you don’t like key collecot or comics tom 101 or comic book wars just go to that what is the anme of that place that place that is a shell of it’s fomrer self since ben took from tray oh yeah cbsi . like the wrestler booker t said can we save the dram for our momas #testify blind adam out ver at facts

  4. Having a hard time getting a clear answer, no one seems to know:
Do you think the lcsd cover for absolute Carnage will count towards the counts for the other regular incentives like SEP190791?

    1. not sure how store variants work. So you think ComicsPro is getting loads of incentive covers such as the 1:200 ABSOLUTE CARNAGE #5 (OF 5) RON LIM VIRGIN?

I was thinking that I might qualify that much easier to get a 1:100 or 1:50 since I was getting 20 of the lcsd cover 🙁

    2. I think it is the way the question is worded. Are you asking if the AC book will count towards receiving incentives, the answer is no. If you are asking if it will affect the overall print run, then yes, it would be lumped into the total unless it is considered a second print.
