Greetings one and all. Lets take a moment to speculate on the upcoming issue of Thor #3 on F.O.C. 1/20/20
MARVEL COMICS(W) Donny Cates (A) Nic Klein (CA) Olivier CoipelTHE BATTLE OF TWO STORMS!
It’s Mjolnir versus Stormbreaker as Thor’s old ally Beta Ray Bill makes a thunderous entrance! But what has put the two friends at odds – and can the King of Asgard convince the Korbinite to let him continue his bloody mission to save all that is?
I am excited for this issue. Will Cates deliver the fight between Thor and Beta Ray Bill or is this all hype? And what of The Black Winter?
This was solicited to retailers as open for store variants. As of today, I do not see any retailer variants online (retailers had to have their orders in by 1/3). Out of all the titles up for store variants that week, this was the most interesting one in terms of speculation.
Donny Cates Venom issue #3 was HUGE (1st appearance of Knull). Will Thor #3 have a similar significance and is Marvel banking on the hype to sell this issue? With only a 1:25 ratio variant, its hard to tell. This might be a sleeper if you can find it for the right price.
Is that last photo then1:25? Wow, that is a fugly cover…
Liking the first cover. Will likely keep picking him up this book for now.
Cates had me with Thanos, then Venom, then Cosmic Ghost Rider…and I didn’t think I’d go for Thor, but I might give it a shot.
I like the Thor series. Its been pretty good so far. Hopefully he can keep the momentum going. Yeah the last photo is the 1:25, first photo is the CVR A.
I love the improvements on Thor thanks to Galactus and the writing genius of Donny Cates and incredible awsome art work of Nic Klein Thors new look especially the regeneration of his arm and his eye are awesome he looks like the Immortal majestic god of thunder that we all know and love.
#awesomesauce.love Donny cates and all he does.blind adam out
Thor and BRB have fought before. Nothing new. Oh, except for the Cates hype train.
