Anyone else watching the sketches Jim Lee has been listing for charity? I have since there’s no new comics hitting the shelves for now.
I just want to also start off, Anthony gave me my own CHU login to write and publish articles back in October of 2017, this is now my 1,000 article under my own login. It also marks the 315 day straight that I have posted an article here on CHU. I know, I’m patting myself on the back a little but you know, someone has to do it..
First up, a recap of the auctions that have ended.
Batman Beyond ended up at $11,600. Batman: Red Rain, which ended at a whopping $17,300 and then there’s Wonder Girl which ended at $5,759.
Deadman which ends in about 11 hours is currently at $9,200.
Grim Knight has another day left and is currently at $8,600.
Red Death is the next one with about 2 days left. It’s already at the $8,175 mark.
Now Jim Lee is doing 60 sketches but it seems like other artists are joining his party, contributing to the charity as well. Here’s an
Art Adams Wolverine that’s pretty awesome if you ask me…. it’s already up to $7,200 in bids.
And there’s another one listed, Phantasm by Rafael Albuquerque. I really dig his work as well.

Me on the other hand, it took me almost 2 year to post a comment on the site lol and not a very good informant.
I found CHU right when I was getting back into comics. I came here looking for books to pickup for the great read. I figured if books are on fire, they likely are a great read too. Since then it evolved over time. I tried a few other sites that were starting up as well but they just didn’t click. I liked the people/comments here, most people were here to just talk comics, no drama. That’s still one of the perks I think CHU has, not so much drama like a lot of the other sites seem to carry. Plus with a lot that will automatically ban you cause you don’t agree with them is just nonsense.
I was just a reader and follower until I think Larry stopped doing his picks. I jokingly commented that I should start doing a weekly pick.. Anthony said do it.. rest is history. Now he won’t unlock the chains.. I keep trying to get away but he keeps making them tighter.. please, someone help me.. I’m stuck writing for Anthony and CHU and he pays crap with no benefits.. 😉

I have an original Lee Superman sketch that was actually published. Unfortunately he’s not a very nice guy, but maybe I’ll flip it some day lol.
Too rich for my blood. Evidentally everyone else has a few extra ten thousand dollar bills laying around. Lol
I know right? It’s still fun to watch the new ones pop up and see where the others end up at.
