More Superman/DC related tv News, Superman’s home planet being developed for SYFY Yv show, focusing on Kal El’s grandfather.
Not sure of the Spec on this one yet, but found the story interesting. The story also comments on the Supergirl TV show.

From Deadline

Years before the Superman became a superhero, the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This series follows The Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known. The planet was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and fist featured in a 1938 DC comic.
Krypton, now in development, is being executive produced by David S. Goyer (Constantine) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon A Time). Goldberg is writing the pilot teleplay based on a story conceived by Goyer & Goldberg.
Krypton joins another Warner Bros/DC drama project from the same mythology, Supergirl, which is in development at CBS. The planet also was referenced in the studio’s Superman origin series Smallville.
In addition to Krypton and Supergirl, WBTV has two other dramas in development that are based on DC properties, Lucifer and Global Frequency at Fox, as well as pilot Titans at TNT. They are part of a push by the studio, which has five DC series on the air, Gotham at Fox, Constantine at NBC as well as Arrow, The Flash and the upcoming iZombie at the CW.
