Wednesday, the best day. This week is going to be fun. It’s also FCBD 2015 this coming Saturday.. I’ll be camping though this weekend. Do not let the women (wife and the other women going as well) plan the weekend camping trip, you’ll miss the important stuff if you do. I’m missing FCBD.. one of the other guys is missing the Manny/Mayweather fight on Saturday.. we should just plan really long wood gathering hikes. 😉
On with the picks..
Batman #40 (DC) – It’s the likely death of Batman. Sure it’s now known ahead of time but killing off Batman causes people to go into a frenzy. Batman is a sure pick this week. Find the variant for cheap if you want and be sure to pick up the Movie Variant as well. Most online retailers are already reporting to be sold out.
TMNT #45 (IDW) – The other recent death, err.. maybe death.. we don’t really know yet but maybe this issue will shed some light. Either way, kudos to IDW for boosting their sales of TMNT more than likely. #44 went to a third print, when was the last time one of these issues in this series went to a 3rd print? Pick these up, just like Batman, they’re sold out online everywhere. Find the variant as well and flip it if you can. If Donatello doesn’t actually die, expect #44 and #45 to sizzle out quickly.
Also, pick up #44 3rd printing as well if you can. I couldn’t even locate a A href=”http://shrsl.com/?~8ic9″>2nd printing so the 3rd might be just has hard to come by.
Now on to the picks where someone isn’t dying or might be dying or there’s a slight possibility they might die..
Spread #7 (Image) Preacher Action Figure Variant – Yes, find it. It’s a CHU favorite and one can’t miss out on the awesome action figure variants.
Pisces #1 (Image) – It’s an Image number one from the writer of Peter Panzerfaust and Rat Queens. Both have their fan bases, both had (or did have) media deals/options, could this one end up the same? It’s very likely according to his track record. Pick it up, maybe two and hold. IT seems when Wiebe’s work does get hot, it’s later on after a few issues are released.
And the really small indie pick of the week..
Mother Russia #1 (Fubar Press) – A sniper, a baby and zombies? Sounds like my type of book to read. Expect low print runs on this one.

Wish we got more news on the rat queens show!
you and me both, or more on Panzerfaust
That’s what happens though.. options get picked up, they sit around for a while. The TV and Movie industry about as slow as the government is in getting things moving, once they move though, moves pretty fast, like they wanted it done yesterday.
