Low #1 SDCC variant

Money to be made (whether you think it is good or bad) can be made off the variants coming out of SDCC. Rick Remender’s Low, is highly anticipated this week, and the first full appearance was released in SDCC as the Convention Exclusive Variant.
If this book pops, these will be greatly desired.
There are only two copies currently up on eBay.

  1. I agree Tony, this and the Ragnarok SDCC are the money makers out of SDCC variants in my opinion. MD and TWD are as well, but not like these too. A great deal less printed. The sleeper out of SDCC for my pick is The Humans #0 though. I suspect a large boom for that book when issue #1 drops in November by Image.

  2. Black Science #7 SDCC heating up too. Great cover. Holding mine long-term though. If I don’t get allocated.
Spider-man 2099 #1 Young Baby variant Black and white SDCC will pair nicely with Young coloured.

  3. Speculation and rumor about Low #1 SDCC variant from the interwebs quote
“When asked a direct question (“What is the print run on the SDCC Low variant?”), the answer was 500. This is not a shop variant with a minimum order of 1000 – Image can print however many they like. They sold 100 copies each day, and they went quick. There is also a major printing defect on the front cover of the vast majority of these books (a suction cup grabbed the covers too hard, and so there are creases/wrinkles on most books. I went through a new pack of 25 and found exactly one clean copy. And from the ones I have seen, in most cases this will not be pressable.”

      1. Even if it’s bad news. Even if its speculation and not true i thought to put because if anyone out there bidding they could at least ask the seller for some extra photos / questions. Or just wait for CGC but then $$$$ sighhh

        1. Any reported damage to the print run could mean money for people with copies without damage. Have to wait and see what the cgc census starts to show. Wonder if they will disregard the damage as it is across the print run (corner dings on ASM #1 or spine issues on Outcast)
