Poyo’s FOC Highlight Book for 3/9/2020

Another FOC Monday is upon us comic book collectors and speculators. FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering.

This weeks FOC list is huge and as I’m sure everyone has Batman #92 getting added on their final orders if they haven’t already done so, that’s not going to be my pick this week since it’s just too obvious as a pick.

My picks goes to an indie book, which is one of the many reasons I got back into comics, great indie reads are still my primary go to when it comes to comics.

Rogue Planet #1 is my pick, out from Oni Press come April 1st. I love indie books and add sci-fi to the overall genre of the book, I’m sold.

It also doesn’t hurt that it’s a new Cullen Bunn book as well.

Rogue Planet #1 (Cover A - Macdonald)Salvage vessel Cortes tracks the Lonely Orphan, a planet with no star system to call its own. Somewhere on this hostile rock is a payload fit for a king. To attain it, though, the crew of the Cortes must brave razor rock, poisonous vapors, treacherous footing, and… the most mind-numbing horrors imaginable. Something nightmarish is at work on Lonely Orphan. Something cruel. Something hungry.

There is also a pretty cool Strahm variant cover as well.

    1. And thanks for the tip, which led to the Aggretsuko post as well as it seems they got most of the con exclusives available for it as well.
