Mel V's Variant Picks of the Week for 1/11/17
What Up CHU? Mel V. back once again with Variants of the Week. I was a little under the weather, but the Jamaican lady at my job told me about this tonic (thats what she called it) RAW GINGER, HONEY, TURMERIC, CHEYENNE PEPPER (I used powder form), 1 lemon, Apple Cider Vinegar, Water . Boil these, let it sit for a day, take 2 teaspoons. Not only is my cold gone, my joints feel better, I swear my vision is clearer and I’m more focused. I don’t know what kind of superhero juice this was, but it tastes like crap and it works. Not hear to sell you on home remedies, so with that said, lets look at some variants. The Fresh Frequency by Julie (aka ½ of Villains In Pants Comic)
2016 is officially over, and 2017 is here bearing optimism and new beginnings. In the comic book universe, I am excited about the upcoming Super Sons, X-O Manowar relaunch, whatever that Marvel classified TPB is all about in the March solicit, Watchmen in Rebirth, and more cat cosplay covers. This is my third Fresh Frequency article for the CHU community, and for those unfamiliar it is designed to give perspective on some recent comic book releases both in terms of quality and investment potential.
