  1. Thats whats up..i love stats..im surprised kyle not up there for posts and Pops are alive and active

    1. You didn’t, I’m pretty sure my blabber mouth was 20,000 of those 21,093 comments. šŸ˜›

      1. I guess I’m going to have to do better this year!
I’ll just be dropping into posts to update you on recent bowel movements, large boogers I pull out, and if you’re lucky maybe even a few ‘does this look infected to you guys?’ pictures. Probably not too many of the last one though because I forgot how to put pictures in my posts.

            1. Heh… Well, some factors to consider. My job requires me to be in front of a computer 99ā„… of the time. I don’t really “browse the web” anymore…. And I don’t really have any local friends who are into comics as I am. So yeah, this is my outlet to talk comics and it’s easy when I’m on a computer all the time. I can multitask like a mofo too… šŸ™‚

              1. Hey no judging here! My job also requires me to be on the computer all day. I totally get it. I can multitask also. Which is why I figure my company gives me 2 monitors. One for work and one for the internet.

                1. Oh and I just love CHU…. So yeah, I’m an addict. I’m a big believer in comments though. I feel they are one of the driving forces in attracting more traffic to the site.

                2. I’m with you there Poyo, love reading the articles and comments here, then getting involved, having a laugh. As I scroll through my browser history this site is definitely the one I visit the most!

                3. I got extremely lucky. My boss, who to be fair is cool as can be, isn’t even on the same floor as me. So I can pretty much do what I want as long as the job gets done. He’s one of those kind of guys. You have no problems as long as the work is getting done. It’s great.

                4. My last boss was an incompetent micromanager. She micromanaged to cover up her incompetence. She would call me for stupid things. “Mr. Hammock, my keyboard is typing in all caps” “Mr. Hammock, when I use excel it moves the screen all over instead of letting me do specific cells” my answer was always, “Did you check the top of the keyboard first for extra lights?” Well you have hit (fill in the blank) lock again.

                5. You and me both. There is really nothing worse. If there’s a problem talk to me about it but if not, please let me be. Thankfully I’ve had a decent run of bosses over the last several years.

                6. I pretty much go unnoticed. I get my work done and a little extra so they leave me alone. Some days are way busier than others, but that is the nature of social work.

                7. I was a supervisor for a year of my life. Not that I wouldn’t do it again for the right amount of money but man….it sucked. I got lucky because after a year of supervising, they gave me a raise and moved me to another position without employees under me. The main job I was supervising was going away. I totally lucked out.

                8. It was such a relief to lose my employees. To only be responsible for what I was doing and not what 15 other people were doing. Good luck getting the new position.

  2. Hey do you guys have twitter? It would be easier to comment to you guys about things for me that way.

  3. Clearly a sign that you’re doing things the right way—congrats on the large increase in traffic!

  4. ???????????? first time someone takes away my 2nd place. Darn you work, why do u get in the way lol.
I am glad the site is getting the love that it deserves. Been on it since day one, but didn’t start to comment till later down the line. It has been my #1 source for comic and non comic information. I keep telling Tony that my comic collection wouldn’t be as disperse with all these different books if it wasn’t for his website lol. Good work dude and here is to a better 2017 cheers!

  5. My favorite comic news site. I wish I could have been here since day one, I know i missed a lot of spec, but since I found it now you’re stuck with me. I don’t like to text (I’m probably the only person in the world) and whenever my girlfriend see’s me on the tablet she like “I thought you didn’t text ” and I say “I’m not texting I’m talking to my people at CHU”. Here’s hoping that the coming year is even better for the site.

  6. I teach stats, so I love to hear some when it comes to comics! Look forward to a great year in 2017! I am actually surprised that spoilers were among the top viewed posts.

  7. happy new year myheating up fanmily. congradulations on a great site Anthony. thanks for the playground to play in. blind adam out

  8. Gotta tell you how much I appreciate the site. Many are the comics I’ve picked and enjoyed and flipped to buy more, based on what I’ve read here.
Thanks for running such a great site, and best wishes to all in the New Year!

  9. Happy New Year’s guys!
If any of you are Preacher collectors, look for a copy of CBLDF Defender #8. It has a beautiful Preacher cover by Steve Dillon and it’s the last one he did before he died.
I don’t know how it’s so far under the radar, I’m not hyping it, just saying that it’s something the fans of the classic series would want to have

    1. I did forget to thank you and everyone else who contributed last year. A pretty big over site on my part but thanks to, in no particular order Louie M., Drunk Wookie, Poyo, Mel, Alana, Cruzzer, Blind Adam, Tyson B., I know I am forgetting a person or two. But thank you all for contributing. You guys are the best.
