Thats whats up..i love stats..im surprised kyle not up there for posts and Pops are alive and active

  2. Brennan says:

I honestly did not think I commented that much! That’s crazy!

    • agentpoyo says:

You didn’t, I’m pretty sure my blabber mouth was 20,000 of those 21,093 comments. πŸ˜›

      • Brennan says:

I guess I’m going to have to do better this year!
I’ll just be dropping into posts to update you on recent bowel movements, large boogers I pull out, and if you’re lucky maybe even a few ‘does this look infected to you guys?’ pictures. Probably not too many of the last one though because I forgot how to put pictures in my posts.

      • Anthony says:

To post a picture just put the link directly into the comment box

      • A. King says:

I’m sure Poyo had more than all of us put together.

    • Anthony says:

End of the year made up for it. Lol.

      • You should post Poyo’s post number so we all have something to aim for this year.

      • agentpoyo says:

        Oh, please don’t…. πŸ™‚

      • Ha, you’re like an addict poyo. You know you have a problem but don’t want to talk about it.

      • agentpoyo says:

Heh… Well, some factors to consider. My job requires me to be in front of a computer 99β„… of the time. I don’t really “browse the web” anymore…. And I don’t really have any local friends who are into comics as I am. So yeah, this is my outlet to talk comics and it’s easy when I’m on a computer all the time. I can multitask like a mofo too… πŸ™‚

      • Hey no judging here! My job also requires me to be on the computer all day. I totally get it. I can multitask also. Which is why I figure my company gives me 2 monitors. One for work and one for the internet.

      • agentpoyo says:

Oh and I just love CHU…. So yeah, I’m an addict. I’m a big believer in comments though. I feel they are one of the driving forces in attracting more traffic to the site.

      • For sure. A great community keeps people coming back instead of just checking in a couple of times a week.

      • degreesofseparation1968 says:

I’m with you there Poyo, love reading the articles and comments here, then getting involved, having a laugh. As I scroll through my browser history this site is definitely the one I visit the most!

      • Anthony says:

I sit in front of a computer screen all day too sadly it is one of the old mainframe terminal looking screens.

      • The black screen with green print?

      • Anthony says:

yes sir. Working for the state is great

      • degreesofseparation1968 says:

Ha ha I wonder if your boss and HR department know this is why they gave you 2?!

      • I don’t think they do….because you know….I’m still employed lol.

      • degreesofseparation1968 says:

Lmfao πŸ˜‚ that’s the best type of boss, clueless!

      • I got extremely lucky. My boss, who to be fair is cool as can be, isn’t even on the same floor as me. So I can pretty much do what I want as long as the job gets done. He’s one of those kind of guys. You have no problems as long as the work is getting done. It’s great.

      • degreesofseparation1968 says:

A boss that leaves you to it, bliss, I hate being micromanaged

      • Anthony says:

My last boss was an incompetent micromanager. She micromanaged to cover up her incompetence. She would call me for stupid things. “Mr. Hammock, my keyboard is typing in all caps” “Mr. Hammock, when I use excel it moves the screen all over instead of letting me do specific cells” my answer was always, “Did you check the top of the keyboard first for extra lights?” Well you have hit (fill in the blank) lock again.

      • You and me both. There is really nothing worse. If there’s a problem talk to me about it but if not, please let me be. Thankfully I’ve had a decent run of bosses over the last several years.

      • Anthony says:

I pretty much go unnoticed. I get my work done and a little extra so they leave me alone. Some days are way busier than others, but that is the nature of social work.

      • Ohhhh, social work. That explains the outdated equipment.

      • Anthony says:

Social worker supervisor. I manage a unit of case managers

        >

      • I was a supervisor for a year of my life. Not that I wouldn’t do it again for the right amount of money but man….it sucked. I got lucky because after a year of supervising, they gave me a raise and moved me to another position without employees under me. The main job I was supervising was going away. I totally lucked out.

      • Anthony says:

There is a lateral position coming up in about a year and a half i want to take. Just need to hold on until then

      • It was such a relief to lose my employees. To only be responsible for what I was doing and not what 15 other people were doing. Good luck getting the new position.

    • I know what you mean. Work has kept me more busy. Unfortunately for my job…not as busy as I should be if I made the list again lol.

  3. Kraig says:

Hey do you guys have twitter? It would be easier to comment to you guys about things for me that way.

  4. Vann says:

Clearly a sign that you’re doing things the right way—congrats on the large increase in traffic!

  6. OCguy72 says:

Good job! Keep growing the site!

  7. Jesus says:

😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒 first time someone takes away my 2nd place. Darn you work, why do u get in the way lol.

I am glad the site is getting the love that it deserves. Been on it since day one, but didn’t start to comment till later down the line. It has been my #1 source for comic and non comic information. I keep telling Tony that my comic collection wouldn’t be as disperse with all these different books if it wasn’t for his website lol. Good work dude and here is to a better 2017 cheers!

    • degreesofseparation1968 says:

Sorry dude, I didn’t realise that was in order of number of posts!! But take the quality over the quantity any day lol

  8. Awesome job Anthony! This is a great site for the entire comic book community πŸ™‚

  9. neiljfreeze says:

    Hey guys,

I’d like to say thanks to everyone who contributes to the site. Everyone is so nice and helpful!

  10. A. King says:

My favorite comic news site. I wish I could have been here since day one, I know i missed a lot of spec, but since I found it now you’re stuck with me. I don’t like to text (I’m probably the only person in the world) and whenever my girlfriend see’s me on the tablet she like “I thought you didn’t text ” and I say “I’m not texting I’m talking to my people at CHU”. Here’s hoping that the coming year is even better for the site.

  11. YES!!! I didn’t think I’d make the list again! Thanks again for the site Tony!

  12. Andrew Cantrell says:

I teach stats, so I love to hear some when it comes to comics! Look forward to a great year in 2017! I am actually surprised that spoilers were among the top viewed posts.

  13. A. King says:

Yeah, what ever did happen to that Gwenon? I was actually going to check that one out.

  14. blind adam the comicpimp says:

  15. Shines says:

Gotta tell you how much I appreciate the site. Many are the comics I’ve picked and enjoyed and flipped to buy more, based on what I’ve read here.
Thanks for running such a great site, and best wishes to all in the New Year!

  16. Lonzilla says:

    Happy New Year’s guys!
If any of you are Preacher collectors, look for a copy of CBLDF Defender #8. It has a beautiful Preacher cover by Steve Dillon and it’s the last one he did before he died.
I don’t know how it’s so far under the radar, I’m not hyping it, just saying that it’s something the fans of the classic series would want to have

  17. Louie says:

    Helluva year! Thanks Anthony!!

    • Anthony says:

I did forget to thank you and everyone else who contributed last year. A pretty big over site on my part but thanks to, in no particular order Louie M., Drunk Wookie, Poyo, Mel, Alana, Cruzzer, Blind Adam, Tyson B., I know I am forgetting a person or two. But thank you all for contributing. You guys are the best.
